I read the first page and saw everyone was wondering if they really lost the
license for Liga.

Yes, I think they lost it. So i guess they probably need to get the license from
each team individually. But thats almost impossible for all I know..... :(
And I'm guessing this will effect the Next-Gen Consoles too....
PES2009 for XBox360 or PC or the PS2 version might have no problem,
because you could patch the game.(For XBox360 you need to do something to your drive)
But for PS3 users, Liga not licensed is a nightmare :(

it says,

"For some part of the European League, player names are real,
but for license issues, club team names have been changed from the previous version. (Spain League and such.)"

So looks like they've lost the Liga license....

Now patching this game is a "must" for me now....
I think I'll just get rid of the J League 2nd Division and relink it with Liga uniforms....

Hi jason_y.
You wanted to know what the words say, which are enclosed by the circle.

Its the same sentence which I wrote in my post above.

It says,

"For some part of the European League, player names are real,
but for license issues, club team names have been changed from the previous version. (Spain League and such.)"

The previous version of Spain League was licensed so this means they lost the Liga license...
This is just a guess but maybe they got some license for some teams like in Premiere League...

I'm more worried about PES2009 for Next-Gen.....
I just imagined PES2009 with out Liga license....... really disappointed ....
 
oops! that's too bad if they lose the license of liga.

But i have read some magazines in Hong Kong(i am a hong konger),

they said konami has got the licenses of 6 leagues(i think it should be the england, germany, france, spain, italy and

holland) and in pes2009 you can play the game without editing.

i dunno it is true or not but i hope it is!

I think they lost the license for JWE2008 anyway,
cause there isn't a Liga license logo on there website.

But for PES2009, who knows. Maybe they'll get hold of the license again like you said :)
 
there is indeed no license for la liga in jwe2008
but its confirmed it wil be on nextgen PES2009 by Konami Spain.
 
One more month to go!! Man I can't wait. Hope they will bring Fantasista mode to WE/PES09 and possible online Fantasista as well. That will really beat FIFA "Be a pro" flat

man more bad news on PES09 they have lost alot of licensed teams... :( it seems that Konami are trying to cut down the cost in making the game... hope they do not go back to what they started in we5 where they had 2 teams from each league....:(
