Well, I think konami will never listen to any of us because the only thing they care about is selling their game, but if you decide to send them a letter it would be a good idea to gather serial numbers or some kind of evidence in order to show them that you have actually bought the game and not downloaded it from the internet.
I'm not posting complaints because they all have already been posted here.

Playing we pes 2007 in pc is much better than pes2008 in my opinion. Pes2008 is very arcade feel.

Moreover, the opening theme before match is much much worse than ever !! Very FIFA like ! No lineup introduction for two teams!

I wonder whether konami employs ex-fifa developers...........

Dear lad, you CAN'T figure out HOW MANY chances I'm loosing, because of that STUPID, that KONAMI LEFT from the game!
SO DAMN stupid, fixing some things and messing "million" of other GOOD!

Poor game

1- I still get 3 teams from my league in my champions league group!!!

2- each season I play the same team three times in a row !!(Champions league,league,cup)

3- the camera isvery boring (why not give us a free cam to choose ? )

4- cheating AI, dumb keepers,lack of licenses

5- WHY CANT I SWITCH TEAMS IN ML?..OR PLAY WITH MORE THAN ONE PLAYER?

Switching teams in ML would be awesome. A REAL change in the game... but I doubt it will happen... remember pro evo management?? no one will buy it (if there's another version coming) if that possibility is added.

1 - The camera is not going along with the ball - in the LOW graphics.
2 - The game is too easy even in top player, because goalkeepers are taking ridiculous blunder goals.

I've been playing WE/PES since WE 7 and have owned every version since. The reason - realistic gameplay. I don't care much about graphics or asthetics. Just give me realistic gameplay. Well, each year I hope that Konami will fix many things that have made these games more unrealistic over the years. However, it seems that each year most of the issues get worse. All of my complaints are based on my own opinion, but I'm sure many of you will agree.

1. AI players on your own team - They're idiots. When they make runs they are typically at the worst moment. They stop runs at the most inoportune times. If the cursor is not on them...forget about defence. In regards to receiving passes, the fact that "supercancel" even exists is proof of that a problem exists with the AI.

2. Refereeing (This could be long) - I'm sick of having my heal clipped as I'm about to take a shot. I can't even count how many times I've been in on the keeper only to have my heal clipped from behind making me "stumble" just so the defensive player can step in front of me and waltz away with the ball.

3. Refereeing 2 (Slide Tackles/Cards) - Why is it than 90% of slide tackles resulting in fouls are carded (this apparently doesn't apply to the CPU)? Why is it that at least 50% of clean tackles are whistled anyway? Konami has had too many years to fix the refereeing and there hasn't been a single improvement in 5 years.

4. CPU - At times the CPU is invincible. Tackle the ball away? Doesn't matter because it deflects to a CPU teammate anyway. Step in front of the CPU to take away the ball? Oops...missed the ball, you stepped right between the ball and the player. Now he continues on toward your net while you scratch your head in confusion and bewilderment. Sometimes the CPU decides it's going to win, and that's all there is to it.

5. Goalkeeping/Rebounds - There are far too many rebounds on both ends. This is something that has steadily gotten worse with the WE/PES franchise. The part that's really frustrating it the fact that the CPU in PES 2008 seems to recover rebounds on their offensive end 75-80% of the time leading to tap in goals. Why don't my AI players recover rebounds at such a high rate? See point #1. This really has become a bad joke with this years game.

6. Passing - When there are two players from your team in the same vacinity and you pass in that direction, the CPU nearly always chooses the wrong player for the recipient. Bad CPU decisions on passes lead to way too many CPU goals.

7. Defense on Corners - It's incredible how often the CPU scores on corners. It's most frustrating when your players doesn't even challenge for the header.

8. Diving/Shirt pulling - The addition of these options is pathetic. Maybe this does add realism, but I don't dive in real life and I won't in a game either. Diving is for people with no integrity. Shirt pulling is trash as well. If you can't win without diving and shirt pulling you deserve to lose. Get better.

I could continue on, but I think you get the idea. I've been loyal to Konami for a long time, but I'm sick of their claim to having the "most realistic" soccer game available. When "most realistic" is this unrealistic I lose my patience. I haven't owned a FIFA game since FIFA 96, but I'm off to get '08 now. They may not be realistic either, but I'm done with Konami. Fix what your fans have wanted fixed for years or I won't be the last to jump ship.

Defenders are jerks, so are the goalkeeper.

Barcelona is too good:
Messi score goals with header in a corner kick against teams such as Milan, Inter, Man-U (MESSI IS AN ELF)
Etoo is too good, he scores from far places like nedved, his header is too good.

free kicks are too damn easy

there is a header bug in corner kicks, for example while etoo is being covered, and a high ball is just to be kicked away by my defender(which is 1.90 meter) eto suddenly appears in his front and kicks the ball with his head to the net, its just amazing... that nigga wizzard


PES 5 was the best, they shouldnt change anything except for the line-ups

BTW WHY THE **** THEY KEEP BUYING DUTCH LEAGUE?! WHO CARES ABOUT THAT CRAP?!?! 15 MILION DUTCH? BIG DEAL!!!

Factual Complaint:
- FIX THE OPTION FILE SAVING, NOT EVERYONE HAS A DAMN GAME PAD.
- ADD THE KIT SELECTION IN MASTER LEAGUE. I HATE PLAYING A TEAM WITH THE SAME COLOURS. ESPECIALLY BEING RED, SINCE I'M COLOUR BLIND TO RED.
- Arsenal side is SERIOUSLY UNDERATED. Cesc fabregas is one of the best in the world but you continue to use the EXACT SAME OPTION FILE FROM PES6, are you implying that arsenal HAVE NOT IMPROVED over a years time??

Personal Complaint:
- the keepers are idiots, so many idiotic own goals are let in.
- crosses are way too strong. they have much more pace on it compared to a free kick taken by the same person.
- the tackles are too soft, giving penalties away is piss easy
- samuel eto'o is WAY too fast and godlike. he dribbled my entire team on top player. yes from kick off he got passed everyone. i need to sacrifice a red card to get him down.

About diving, I've wondered something.

When the Demo was out, I would use 2 controllers (kitserver hack) and dive with one team to get lots of freekick opportunities with the other team. But it seemed like a freekick awarded from a dive was indirect? Is that the way it is in real life? Because if you scored a direct freekick from a dive, no goal was awarded and no celebrations took place.

I've no idea what the rules say, just found it kind of curious. It's not often you dive in a defensive/"freekick position" anyways where the opposition has a good freekick chance after, but still...

Personally, I feel that PES6 is much better than PES2008 though the latter is way better than Fifa2008. I feel that Konami should come out with a patch to rectify the shooting immediately. It is agonizing to wait for PES2009 to see what's new. The ball physics is a bit under done in PES2008. I know for a fact that there were a lot complaints in regard to the same issue on PES6 where it is kind of unrealistic for find balls flying above the crossbar when the player is almost at the goalpost but still the game is better in terms of excitement. But PES2008 is different animal. I never expected the stadium to be empty considering the fact that Konami have the prowess of the latest technology at their disposal. Also in scoring, even at World Class Level, it is too easy to score unlike PES6. It is difficult to get a scoreless draw in PES2008. Last but not least, the ball feels like iron, it is so difficult to lift it unless you press really hard at the gamepad. There is no shooting calibration. It would have been better if the the strength of the shot is timed based ie depends on how long we depressed the gamepad button. A cannon blast perhaps at the mid level and above. That would bring back the thrills.

For me pes5 was the best...pes6 was baaad....pes7 oh, euh ,hum pes2008 is like burnout without crashes but with boost ...If there was a radar on the pitch, they would all pay a fine... even carragher !

I bought the pes1, the pes2, the pes3, the pes4, the pes5, the pes6 and now the pes7 oh, euh ,hum pes2008. i can say that 2 of the 2008 pes oh, euh ,hum 2 of the 7 pes are like fifa games.

i think konami fired his team to bring in fifa's team instead :(

NO NO cant be that, cause the pes interfaces are the worse i have seen ...y use english commentators who cant articulate a frenchies name?

NAH, im convinced its fifas team...cause i get a foul from AI after 69 mins...

DOES ANY ONE UNDERSTAND THAT LOW GRAPHİCS MAKE GAME SO STUPD. keepers acts like idiot, even ronaldhino makes times of passin mistake .. cant hit tha ball :s every corner = goal keepers takes it in, etc etc etc.. when i play against a friend who has low grapchics game is totally bad!! but when i play against medium or high everthing is normal?!?!? why doest it happen? any one noticed somthng like that?!?

agree 100.. barca is a team from outer space...ronaldiho..etoo..messi.. dribble all the way and its really difficult to challenge these player

if u are very good at dribbling and take barca or MU then there is chances to win is 99 percent..

where is team play..as in PES4 and PES5..?????!!!!



..how can the defender cant stop them when shoulder to shoulder to them...this is s88t

konami plz release third patch...to adress the issue..

The Goalkeepers , OMG what have you done? better at saving the one on ones, but the shot stopping is beyond a joke, score , by shooting stright at the goalie from a certen angle and put in the rebound.

1. No more man of the match feature (I mean that star next to player name) - even if it wasn't working so good, it surely was nice feature:)
2. No synopis about player after the match (this, for some useless, but not disturbing bar with short info, how exact player played in the match)
3. No particular statistics for each player after match (distance covered, times dribbled, etc.)
4. No possibility to change kits before league matches (sic!) - that caused that I just couldn't play one match, because my players and opponent players have the same kits color, and I couldn't differ them!
5. Where are the classic players (I really, really would like to see Boniek, Deyna or Zidane playing once again, even in PES!!!)?!

My defenders just dont know what they are doing! I play it on top player mode and everytime i see a god like thorugh ball by a team like derby i look at the replay as to how i happened. Im playing with man united as an example and rio ferdinand is just deciding to take a little stroll over to Evra for a little talk leaving about an acre for their player to run into. AI seems less intelligent on this version. you just cant rely on them.

Even when you man mark players the defenders dont track the runs. If the opponent gets 1cm past you player in ur own half ur screwed. You cant catch them or tackle them and they either score or get near goal and pass it across to the other attacker who taps it in while the cpu defender just strolls back. ITS UNSTOPPABLE. bringing out the keeper doesnt work AT ALL on this version either.

The keepers also parry it WAY too much! Maybe pes6 they could catch super fast shots at times but in real life the goalkeepers parry it for a corner or take enough power off it that they can get up and catch it but some of the parrys are faster than some shots. And your cpu defenders are way too slow at reacting. Its a goal every time.

The games also too easy if youve got a player who can dribble. Pass it to a dribbler who can take on nearly everyone and score. The other side of the coin is its really hard to stop ronaldinho or kaka. tbh even a shit dribbler is hard to stop with this defending. Youll get close up and be pressing "pressure" like mad and nothing happens even with the top defenders.

The long balls are harder to do than in pes6. i can personally say i was a high ball specialist in pes6 but i dont use them anymore apart from switching the play whena winger or full back has 5 acres of space. Even then its nerve racking to control as you cant move the player its going to and ive seen it bounce over the heads many times. The deep cross doesnt work either as the player cant control it as it zooms past them at about 53242mph even when the player is in reaching distance. its asif its going too fast for the ai to be able to control the attacking player.

The distant free kicks are an ABSOLUTTTTTTTEEEEEEEEEEEE JOKE aswell. you cant pass to your own player especially in yourown half. ITS SO ANNOYING. and when you try a long ball it doesnt go ANYWHERE near where you want it. its almost as random as the keepers goalkick.

The editing as people have said and the lack of stadiums.
Also lack of boots annoys me. They could create loads of random ones and it doesnt take up much space. That would give us modders more space.

PERSONAL COMMENT (CONSPIRACY THEORY!!)

The thing with this game is sometimes game manufacturers dont try the hardest when making a games for the first time in next gen. You may not agree with me but if they made a really great game using the next gen to its full potential then they wouldnt get another three years of upgrades out of the console. It sounds like a stupid conspiracy theory but if you think about it, it must go through their minds when making it. Leave room for improvement. Ive seen it done before with WWE SMACKDOWN. When the ps2 debut came out of "just bring it" it was ok n the graphics were slightly better but compared to the likes of smackdown vs raw 2007 the graphics were shocking n i remember thinking they should have used the next gen better the same as with this. I may be wrong im not looking for an argument i cant be arsed.

Surprisingly im still going to play the game as i like the moments it all works well and you score a wondergoal or make some silky arsenal style play. The one good thing about this game thats better than pes6 for me is co-op. it makes sense when playing it like that. The movement and through balls work really well and you dont have to relay on stupid AI, you can smack your m8 if he gets it wrong. I recomend the game just for co-op

2v2 Online was the only good thing about the last pes, where is it gone. I hate games companies that take features out of games. 1v1 has no teamwork, and the only goals scored are cutbacks. This game sucks and I want a copy of the next pes free. Otherwise I wont be paying for it ever again. This is not pro evo, its a joke.

What happenned to the Lobbies, friends lists, groups so you can have people with a good connection to you, or who you like playing on the same team as, or against them. Now you get matched up with spanish and portuguese all the time, and they are too far away to play against.

Why are PC users forced to play the xbox style version. I have always used a ps2 controller, and the xbox is missing so many features. 2v2 online being the main problem. I have to put on Pes6 to play that.

Get your finger out Konami!
