UEFA Euro 2008

Same here but I can see what Coopz is saying - if Euro 2008 is a LOT better and the FIFA 08 bugs/glitches/annoying things have been ironed out then there will be NO point going back to it.

None of the other World Cup/Euro Cup games have featured club teams, and FIFA 09 is coming out only five months afterwards. So it's almost guaranteed that there will be no club teams.

If it has good reviews I will get it - But I will defo not be getting rid of Fifa - I need to play with club teams :))

I don't believe EA will brig us a next gen soccer game and we won't be able to play with Ronaldinho, Kaká, Etoo, Messi, Tevez, Drogba, and many other superstars.

I think that some big clubs MUST will be avaliable, or some international teams non eupopean like Brasil and Argentina...

I bet all the international teams are in there, they cant bring a game out with only 16 teams in it surely

All European international teams will be in it. Because you will be able to start from qualification level and take that team right up to the Euro 2008 Final :))

If it's a worthwhile improvement I will probably get it after the tournament. bargain price and will keep me busy for a month or two till 09 gets released.

Wouldnt expect brazil et all to be in there. After all its a UEFA licensed game, not a FIFA license.

They will have ALL European teams I am sure because there is the Manager Mode style option where you have to qualify first (so England, Wales, Scotland, N.Ireland, Rep Ireland should ALL feature.)

The Be A Pro Captain mode does sound pretty awesome...

And the proper weather and effects of it...

I will probably rent this when it's available :))

Only thing that puts me off about BAPC is that you're supposed to create yourself apparently, I'd rather use an existing player, not much fun creating an overweight 35 year old with a ginger beard and trying to win the Euro championship ;)

EA said previously that the reason the weren't weather/rain in Fifa08 is that because they wanted to put it in properly and to have the ball and pitch and even kits respond and change appropriately, so we'll find out whether that was bullshit or not, at the very least I hope that in heavy rain the pitch cuts up and players slide tackle much further, would hope to see goalkeepers sliding out of their areas on occasion as well, rather than the invisible forcefields that keep them in on most games.........

Paul Scholes has already retired mate! ;))

Not true! I've seen goalie's booked for handing the ball outside the box on FIFA 08.

The odd spectacular Foul tackle from the bad pitch conditions wouldnt go amiss either :) Seriously though EA need to sort out their Player Models and faces. They look shocking.

I hope we get the full and proper national anthems in this. WC 2006 was crap for that.

I would prefer the national anthems tunes instead - done with Pan Pipes or maybe some Tubular Bells that were made famous by Mike Oldfield.

One thing I hope they get right is the correct fonts on kits. On FIFA08 they couldn't even get the fucking colours right, eg. Portsmouth have GOLD numbers not bloody white!
