Played a few more games and I have to say there's a smooth ebb and flow to the game. . . it's like whatever you're trying to do . . as in pass direction etc works. It feels like the response is way quicker than prepatch .. just had a couple of cracking games if they fixed penalties and high shots this game could be saved.

I rarely venture online but just played an online comp to see how i do and i got to the semis of the club open cup and faced some lad who was barca and in div 1 and me as napoli
I looked at the goals rankings said he had scored 19 which in 5 min games is crazy so thought this will be tough and it was not because he was good but because of him sliding in snapping the shit out of me with no punishment also lagged to the point of being unplayable shame ppl resort to these tactics to win i played a guy in the groups who was superb played good football beat me 3-1 but to lose to the tactics the other guy resorted to is why i just cant put the hours into online shame cos its clear on a level field i can compete with the best

The problem with online is the scripting to balance the games out. I had a game earlier paying against a lineup of Costa, podolski, Nani, Fabregas, Neuer, Albiol while I used Cavani and other lesser players. Totally dominated the game first half I was 2-0 down in minutes from quick counters. I had a 67% of the ball and about 7/8 shots all if which on target. The opponent also only had 60% odd pass accuracy to go with his 2 shots on target. I clawed back both goals before half time but has to work really hard
Second half starts and Konami kick it up a gear for him. 3 clearances go about 5 meters out till he eventually steaks the ball off my keeper to go ahead with his 3rd shot. His next goal my keeper parries it straight to Costa. On the other end I just can't hit the target and when Neuer parries it goes to his defenders.
I don't know why Konami do this. It's not the first time it happens to me either. I do get lucky sometimes as well but never as blatantly. Also if you are leading you must expect the opposition to score a goal no matter how well you defend.

I found short model a lot better after this update ... they are less pipe shape !! they move more and they are more wrinkled ...

Maybe cause the majority likes it as it is.
After the latest patch 1.03 ( on Xbox 360 ), the ball is a bit more free and natural while dribbling and its rebounds are a bit more random, which is very good. Nerfing the "on rails" feel is always a good thing. Also the headers are more powerful and natural, not always these slow motion over the net headers.
So they make changes to very hardcoded things like - how the ball travel as an object, but obvious things like - "moving out of your way" defenders, CPU low shooting over and over again ( with very high accuracy ), and these weak and slow diving goalkeepers are not touched..
