Isn't the Guitar Hero II 360 guitar already wireless?

If it has those new frets at the bottom like the Rock Band one it means you won't be able to use the old one. Which is really bad considering that I was looking at getting Guitar Hero II off eBay.

Only the rock band guitar has the buttons at the bottom as far as i know the guitar hero II guitar wasn't wireless or at least all the people i know including mine aren't.

Nah the new wireless one looks like the old PS2 one but i think its bigger and you can change the cover on it.

Will be waiting for Guitar Hero III and the wireless one though I think. Hopefully that one will work with Rock Band as well. :mryellow:

I will wait for GH3 then. (I have recently switched from 360 to PS3 where I had GH2). This game should be good. :)

Activision has sung "We Haven't Announced Anything Yet" to Eurogamer this afternoon, in response to a full track list for Guitar Hero III appearing online.

The full compliment of songs appeared on website Aeropause, apparently leaked from a Gamespot friend in the know.

If it all proves accurate, you could be throwing your overgrown hair around to the likes of Stevie Ray Vaughan, Santana, Tenacious D and The Sex Pistols. That's on top of familiar faces like Metallica, Iron Maiden, Guns n' Roses etc.

Short answer YES with GH

You can purchase a PS2 controller attachment that lets you plug in PS2 pads and the GH guitar. So you can play Gh1 & 2 on the PS3.

It's said you can do this to play GH3 but at the moment with Gh1&2 is star Power only works by pressing 'Select' and you're unable to do HO/PO's for some reason.

Have they revealed yet if the rock band guitar will work with GH3 or the other way around?

I dont want to buy Gh3 and find the guitar doesnt work on RB, yet the RB guitar works on GH.

Im thinking the RB guitar will work on GH - but the Gh3 guitar wont be fully functional on RB as it has extra frets.

But has there been any official word?

Just played GH3 on PS2.

Black Magic Woman by Santana, Welcome to the Jungle by Guns n' Roses and Suck my Kiss by Red Hot were the highlights of my 2h session. :)

Man, that song the developer is playing along to is SHIT. I hope that's the only song of that kind in there, stupidly too fast and no rhythm besides just thrashing.

Still a bit pricey those song packs, though. I thought they may have lowered them after the feedback from the GH2 packs.

The GH3 demo is pretty funky and I think I'm going to end up picking up the geetar again this time too.

Arthritis here we come.

They came out same day as on Xbox Live as well.
