oh man, that was nasty at the end of the game estudiantes-internacional. that was not nice by neither player but I would never expect that from pato, he really disappointed me (I praised him just yesterday in the argentina WC-topic).

Yeah nasty brawl at the end. Would like to see a good video of it all again.

Estudiantes fans/players started celebrating too early! lool that late goal was like getting stabbed in the heart!

Anyway now 2 Brazilians go head to head while Chivas goes up against the team that eliminated Vagner Love, Adriano and co from Chile.

Well, excuse me, but it really seems like Vélez is going to give battle to the end, I'm pretty optimistic that they'll be in the final.

Penarol vs Santos final ,

velez had so many chances that ricky is a gem of a player his movements n vision was spot on! very impressive and very direct playing. I expect Santos to edge it!

Peñarol to the final? I don't know... I saw the complete game, and Vélez dominated them, and Peñarol's goal was a CK. 1 goal difference is nothing.

Let's see if Peñarol can handle the game here in Argentina.

I saw the match too was very 1 sided, . I think Velez was very wasteful especially the striker upfront. Penarol took their chances as little as it was and hitting the post too.

If Velez do the same ,but score it could be humiliating for Penarol

Shame 'El Tanque' missed the penalty. I was rooting for them. :( Think Santos will win it though.

Vélez failed because Gareca keep the same tactics and strategics from the first match: Everyone look for crosses to Silva, no one else really tried other thing (except a couple of shots)... too bad, Peñarol's Coach was really intelligent and thougth the right way to play the game, both in the first as in the second match, totally deserved their spot in the final.

Seeing how things are going, I'm starting to believe that Vélez won't win the league neither.

And, if Peñarol plays the same match with Santos as with Velez, I don't know who'll win, even if Santos has a better team.

@Deranzeef: You are right, Gareca kinda disappointed me. I honestly did not understand why he too Maxi out so early. I mean I didnt see that much of a difference after he came out.

Tomorrow, Argentinos Juniors (7th with 25 points) recieves Estudiantes LP (12th with 22 points), Independiente (6th with 25 points) recieves Lanús (2nd with 29 points), and Vélez (first with 30 points) recieves Godoy Cruz (3rd with 28 points)

Let's see how the monday goes, because this are the last matches of the 17th, and the Clausura has only 19 matches, and Vélez could easily lose the title in the last match like in Apertura 2010/2011.

Godoy Cruz ain't easy, they play a really good football, yet they ain't the best players, but their heart and balls are bigger than anyone else.

But enough Off-Topic.

I can't wait to see the Libertadores Final, it'll surely be great!
