Re: Winning Eleven 10 - PS2 - Official Thread

I've always waited for pro evo before but not this time. I just hope the cpu is a greater challenge, I don't play the master league because even on six stars he just sits back and tries to counter. EVERY cpu team plays the same way. Oh well at least 2 player is ALWAYS good. Well done thomasgoal for all the info, i can't wait for this game!

Re: Winning Eleven 10 - PS2 - Official Thread

Seems that the game would be very good, anyway I want to comment that WE9 was not better than WE8 or WE8LE. For me, best in series was WE7Int and WE8LE, obviously with their errors each one. But I think this: if Konami seems to have listened people in forums, we are facing the best game of the saga. And the addition of Cuernabeu stadium is a real good move, now I can beat fucking galactics on their own pitch lol.

Thanks for all the info to Thomas and Junka (Kaka rocks! lol).

Re: Winning Eleven 10 - PS2 - Official Thread

i think i know why WE9 isn't liked as much as WE8 and WE7. i think because of the subtractions. hair movement, "English version", appearance of crowd, bad refereeing, and etc. made WE9 into erroneous game.

from the given info, I think Konami is trying to rectify their mistakes from the previous releases. i think WE10 will be the best in its generation.

Re: Winning Eleven 10 - PS2 - Official Thread

I also think the same as you titeo. But I dont take in mind a lot details as "hair movement", I take in mind basically the gameplay. And WE9 gameplay is one of the worst on all the saga, I prefer by far WE8LE and WE7INT. The worst thing on WE9/PES5 is the bad referee, whistle fouls all the time, and the scripting gameplay. But, as you said, I think we10 will be the best of series, at least I hope so.

Okay ty. But I thought all Japanese were good people... :D

Otherwise, loads of people seem rather optimistic about WE10 : that's a good omen ! 8)

Ofcourse from the very little weve seen we can already tell its gonna be a phenominal game.... EVERY NEW VERSION IS!!!!
Those people who keep whinging.. for godsake, and your own sake.. just stop it.. THIS GAME IS GONNA ROCK!!!

For those people whove constantly complained about goalkeeper..there u go.. hope your finally happy.. n yes.. it does look great..

For those constantly complaining about the automatic sidestep (old R2) movement... look at 53sec of the movie.. just before the english player takes a shot.. he moves sideways without the sidestep.. so you can now relax :) this didnt really bug me..but i can understand that its better without the automatic movement... as im all for Manual control.

Just like we7 was better than we6, just like we8 was better than we7, and just like we9 was better than we8.. this WE10 is gonna be the best effort yet. Konami has never let us down in terms of constant improvement.

ALL I CAN SAY IM SO DAMN EXCITED BOUT THIS GAME!!!! From all the news, the fixes of problems of previous versions etc, this is gonna be the most complete version. call me vain..but the moving hair alone is gonna get my rocks off :) oh and the new gameplay n animations not to mention the proper vertical bicycle kicks... oh I LOVE KONAMI :)

:)
You don't work for them too by any chance..... ;)

thats funny. they have a stadium for S. Africa, but there isn't a S. Africa team :D

Re: Winning Eleven 10 - PS2 - Official Thread

Dunno why they just don't keep national teams in place and add the others, not as if they have to stick to 64 national teams (inc. classics) is it? :|

I'm thinking they don't want the hassle of keeping them all up to date - EA have hundreds, literally hundreds of people doing their database (as do SI with Football Manager), and half of the data in FIFA is still completely wrong. Konami don't have that many at all, they're all in-house (I wouldn't be surprised knowing Konami if they've got two people doing it, or some other insanely low number).

Re: Winning Eleven 10 - PS2 - Official Thread

ye i hope so as well, but i doubt it slightly as they've not said anyhting about it yet ;)
off topic: (damn i do this a lil bit too much :p)

I hope the weather changes in the Master League this time...
very important! i'm glad you brought that up. i don't know what everyone's experience but, the only weather change i get is playing Match Mode. I played 4 seasons of ML, and not a single drop of rain or snow. i've completed 3 League Mode titles, and the weather was always "nice" or dark.

environmental changes are very important in football.
