PES 2016 News & Discussion Thread

Does anyone know if release date has been delayed?

Here in Australia, retailer seems to have put down a 22 Sept instead of 15th/17th. No reply from @officialpes.
Maybe someone here knows better?

no mate, i rang jb hifi, its the 17th, same thing happened with eb last year, they had a the date set wrong and came out a week earlier.

I checked a few Dutch shops ( a gameshop and a very big shop ) and all of them have the release date on 17 september.
This is Europe though, you better look fore more shops in your region.

I rarely agree with Clown, but this is an exception. There are too few fouls in the game. Even on a high level the CPU makes on average fewer than one foul in a match and that is not realistic.

yeah fouls and aggression needs to be sorted, majority of people did state about this problem, lets see now if konami really do listen or is just talk.

I think they will listen, but how long will it take to patch it? It can be hard to implement because it's in the middle of the gameplay. So it might be later than a day-one patch, more likely a month two patch, so to say.

Well I definitely get more fouls than 1 a game against me. But like everyone else, I agree konami need to drastically increase the foul sensitivity... just don't think it'll be a problem in the final version. If this was the final version we were talking about, then yeah.. id be mega pissed as well.. who really knows the timeline between when this demo was finalised and when the final retail version was finalised (including day one patch).

I don't think this is of influence of the fact that the demo is only the Gamescom-version. In PES 2015 there were also very few fouls and those were not fixed. So if they want to listen to the fans they have to fix that from the feedback.

anyone has a clue of what is the size of the game for either console?
i bought it on PS3 but haven't been able to get any details anywhere :/

wow.. talk about an over reaction. I can understand some moaning about the lack of stadiums, but the lack of fouls?? come on.. those here who believe this wont actually be fixed come release day really need a hard shake me down. Really!!?? And when konami fix this, will you actually play it?? probably not, cause you have Fifa16... so who cares...

over reaction? last year adam bhati completely denied the issue of lack of fouls on twitter, I asked his to produce some screen shots to show the level of fouls that he was seeing that I wasn't. He then went all defensive and refused to do it..fact..I hope they are fixed because they need to be but this has been an on going issue..the worrying part if its a conscious decision to help the game flow

Chilean League fake and partial Argentinien League licensed:

Only 22 stadiums on the game (I supose more stadiums on the first DLC) and 23 balls unlocked (others balls are hidden):

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mWtuxs_t9BI

List of the stadiums:
Giuseppe Meazza
San Siro
St. Jacob Park
Old Trafford
Allianz Arena
Juventus Stadium
Estadio Mineirao
Arena Corinthians
Estadio Beira Rio
Estadio do Morumbi
Estadio Urbano Caldeira
Saitama Stadium 2002
Konami Stadium
Metropole Arena
Estadio de Scorpiao
Estadio del Nuevo Triunfo
Estadio de Sagittaire
Studio Orione
Burg Stadium
Estadio del Martingal
Rose Park Stadium
Coliseo de los Deportes

where is the Monumental and the Bombonera? This crap again? just like last year... so boring.

Lack of balls, lack of stadiums, etc are details which could make PES a great game from a good game. Fifa has these details, the fifa shop is amazing, so many things to unlock. To say these things dont matter breeds complacency from Konami. But to say you wont play the game bexause of the lack of these details is a bit silly imo when the gameplay (on manual) is so addictive,

Its just a shame that effort is not put into bells and whistles, is all

Lol is clown baby tired of the greatest football game ever made?
I honestly don't care about the number of stadiums and balls.

I care about foul count and pass accuracy of which both games are broken.

BTW this low foul count has been around since PES6 from what I have seen.

I just hope they fix that and I will be a happy camper. I miss super free kick specialists in my team

About the Argentinian league and the licenses.
Last year there were 20 teams in the league and now 30.
Because there are 30 teams, KONAMI needs to renegotiate with every single of the 30 clubs.
Currently they are doing this. So it is very well possible that we gonna get a licensed Argentinian league albeit with downloads.

Gameplay video. Final version, no dayone patch or DLC yet applied

Damn, this looks better than the xbox360 version from the demo, there is more atmosphere, more variety in crowd and the graphics are better, with a better coloured pitch and lighting and the playermodels have more detail to them (though the playermodels are more nimble in the xbox360-version).

Damn, because it means I have to shell out a few hundred bucks to either get a xboxone or a ps4.:shiver:

Besides the first years on new platforms they are always few.

This is the 3rd year on "next-gen". 2014 has 20 stadiums, 2015 has 19 with all DLC, 2016 has 21 currently + the just announced brazilian Maracana. Also, in some previews, we've seen a former PES 2013 stadium, estadio amazonas which isn't on that list, it's possible that they've renamed it, since i see some new names in those generic stadiums.

So the Olympiastadion in Berlin, the National Stadium in Warsaw, La Bombonera and El Monumental disappeared in PES 2016. This leaves us with 5 licensed stadiums in Europe. Pretty sad.

Talk about improving your South American popularity, then you remove Boca and River Plate's stadium lol...
Also, one of the fake stadiums is gone from the list too. No more Royal London.

The role system sounds good

Looks decent, but who knows will it actually have any effect in the game. And that's about the only new thing i saw. What about transfers? The rest of the revamped ML just looks boring and new menus that's all. They need to add new THINGS to ML and return some good old THINGS. I liked the stadium in the background of the ML menu...

Also, since the videos are down, is it true only 5 teams in "Other European teams" ? If so, thats a major loss.

???

Pes 2014 is ONLY on old gen.

PES 2015 first PES of the next gen
PES 2016 second PES of the next gen

Right, my bad. I forgot cause of the revamped graphics the console & PC 2014 PES had. The point still stands, too few stadiums.
