PES 2015 Discussion Thread (PS4/XB1)

Headers feel scripted somehow. I don't really have a problem with the power, but they always end just wide, in the arms of the keeper or cleared by a defender standing on the line. Don't remember one going in, or over the bar.

Anyway, where is Jimmy G-Force

Seamless play as well,it's dreamy on FIFA this year and across the bat..the ref tossing the ball in into touch and just watching the players walking back into position adds immersion and that your participating in a living,breathing match not just a game.

These things should be standard in both games now and the cheap tricks pes employs like the CPU just knocking players to the ground so it can have a easy chance on goal still beggar believe and it's unfair and always when you've got the rub..it's just saps all the work you put in for the CPU to just score at will.

Fouls are shocking,or certainly the lack of them given.

Is pes such a big departure from last year that these areas haven't been tweaked and refined.

I even like the commentary on FIFA now,something I always used to turn off on both games and while playing a Man U vs Leicester last night on the trial heard Alan smith saying how he thought David moyes departure was premature.

It's 2014 now,bringing a game to market that's so light and missing details and touches that it's competitor is just throwing on the cake with lavish aplomb just makes pes taste and play like something from yesteryear..

zero or one bar --more inclined to go zero as on one the AI still overrides my choices at times and cant play into open space..I cant believe people are not stamping their feet regarding fouls you cannot have a single player game if their are no fouls..That was FIFAs issue last year but looks to have been addressed this year as i have seen a few reckless tackles by the AI, a number of bookings a red card and 2 penalties in about the same amount of play time.

I found 1 bar too assisted as well kept passing to a different player, didn't matter how much power you put on either. 0 bar is great this year with the added responsiveness over 2014. Not having the problem on through passes maybe you just need more practice.

Yeah Fifa does a much better job of fouls by AI, I hope it gets sorted for release but I can live with it the way it is, just.

I get this impression from corners, don't think I've scored a header from one yet. But in open play it's fine.

Have you guys seen this ?
Master League Information

All contracts you sign with a club are restricted to 1 year in length.This makes the end of the season a very busy time, as you must decide which club team you would like to manage next season.If you have earned the trust and respect of your team (Team's trust level), then you will be offered an extension.At the same time, you may receive offers from other clubs.Take a look at your offer list to see who's interested in your services.Alternatively, you can hand in a transfer request and look for pastures anew. However, please note that this option only applies to teams who have managerial vacancies at the time.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
The "Team's Trust Level" indicates the level of trust between you and the players.If this were to drop below a certain level, you will not be offered a renewal at the end of the season.The trust level fluctuates based on the team's fortunes on the pitch and the amount it changes each time depends on the strength of the opposition.So, by this rule, the easiest way to earn your team's trust is to beat big clubs.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

In Master League, a manager's job isn't all about club management.Managers yearn for the opportunity to lead their nation to great success.Such an opportunity may come calling for you too.The more experience you gain in club management, the bigger the chance you will have of receiving such an honour.The job of managing the national team is a part-time one and you will continue in your present role at the club even if you were to accept such an offer.As national team manager, you will be tasked with guiding the team to success in international competitions as well as naming the squads for the qualifiers and friendlies in preparation.Your performances at both club and international level will ultimately dictate who you will get to manage.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
If you are not sure who to sign, a scout can help in shortlisting potential targets.All you have to do is to let him know the type of players you want by selecting [Negotiations] → [Sign] → [Scouting Instructions]To see which players the scout has shortlisted, select [Negotiations] → [Sign] → [Scouting Report] in order The list will be updated every two weeks.Players from the list tend to be more readily available and therefore are easier to sign.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
When players near the end of their contracts, it's time to start renewing their deals.Negotiations over contract renewals start when players come to you with their desired terms.If you find the terms acceptable, then a new deal can be agreed. If not, you can reject the player's requests and let him know what you are willing to offer.Or, you may choose not to renew the contract if you feel that the player is surplus to requirement.Players who feel little loyalty towards the club can often put their renewal talks on hold.Convincing such players to stay can turn out be far more costly compared to players who are happy to remain at the club.Should they choose to leave, they are entitled to free transfers, meaning you will receive nothing even if they were to sign with other clubs.

Regardless of whether you are negotiating contract renewals or a transfer, it's always best to offer terms that will satisfy the player.Try adjusting the terms & conditions so that his Satisfaction Level is indicated by ?? or ??.If it still remains at ??,?? or ?? , you will have to improve your offer.In a player's contract, there are many adjustable options and clauses. These include:

<Team Negotiations: Player Trades>
When trying to sign a player, you can use players from your team as makeweights in a trade deal.In such cases, try to put forward players who can play in positions which the other team is looking to strengthen. This would then give you more leverage in any potential deal.

<Team Negotiations: Option-to-buy>
This is an option only available in loan deals.Including this option allows players to be bought or sold during their loan spells.

<Player Negotiations: Appearance Bonus>
Players who have this clause written into their contracts are entitled to 1% of their annual salaries for each appearance made.This is an option which can make it easier for you to negotiate with players who feature regularly for their teams.

<Player Negotiations: Goal Bonus>
Players who have this clause written into their contracts are entitled to 1% of his annual salaries for every goal scored.This is an option which can make it easier for you to negotiate with attacking players who feature regularly for their teams.

<Player Negotiations: Release Clause>
Players who have this clause written into their contracts can force a move if an offer comes from a team with a higher club ranking.This is an option which can make it easier for you to negotiate with highly rated and ambitious players who are looking to eventually play for a big club.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Have a look to see where the club's money goes.Details on potential income sources will be covered next.

<Market Value>
The market value will form the basis of a player's true financial worth.This value can fluctuate based on 2 factors: the player's individual achievements and those achieved by his club.The player's transfer fee will also be set in accordance to the market value.

<Annual Salary>
The annual salary like its name suggests refer to the yearly wage players are paid by their clubs.It is the one expenditure that has to be paid at regular yearly intervals.Whenever you are thinking about bringing in new players, make sure that you check the club's current wage bill as well as the overall state of their finances.

<Severance Payment>
On releasing a player who he is still contracted to your club, you will be obliged to pay him what is known as a severance payment.This amount will be worked out based on the player's annual salary.

<Bankruptcy>
The club will be declared bankrupt if you are unable to cover the player's wage bills come the beginning of the season.While bankruptcy won't result in the dissolution of your team, you will be subject to a transfer embargo until the debts are paid off.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

The club can raise funds from the following sources.

<Gate Receipts & Prize Money>
Gate receipts and prize money are what forms the main bulk of the club's revenue. Note, gate receipts can only be earned in home matches.Prize money will be awarded in accordance to the club's performances in both league and cup.

<Sponsors & Fan clubs>
Sponsorship fees and fan club subscriptions are paid at the beginning of the season.The expected revenue from these sources will be disclosed towards the end of each season, which affords you the time to plan ahead and look for potential reinforcements.Needless to say, the better you perform, the more revenue you will generate.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Player development isn't restricted to just matchday as they are put through their paces in everyday training. The team's training regime can be set by allocating focus points in [Player Menu] → [Training]. Allocating more points to certain aspects of training will lead to quicker increases of related player stats.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Being given constant playing time as well as being a member of a team which achieves constant success are the 2 ways in which player loyalty increases.Players with little affection for the club are bound to leave the club eventually. Managing egos and keeping everyone happy is another important aspect of football management.

Looks really good!

Finally scouts get back in and I wondered how long it would take KONAMI to bring back the option trading players of your own team in to the deal for a new one.
Also, the option to buy is positive (yet so easy, why did it take years???).

The Goal Bonus seems nice as well.

I really hope this and the overall ML gets more depth like it used to have years ago.

What´s the source, easy?

AFAIK, option to buy after loan was never in the game before ... but the return of player trade options was long overdue

Real source? Probably data-mining and copy/paste from PS3 .cpk files. Writing style is dangerously similar to Konami's ingame explanations :)

"North London FC", "London FC" and Manchester United may be licensed in PES 2015.

In the "dt10.cpk" of PS3 Demo, there is a file called "TeamColor.bin" and their team ID appears in this file. "TeamColor.bin" seems to be a file containing information of licensed clubs.

I'm really curious to see if the EU demo is really different from WE demo.

I remember that in PES 2013 demos gameplay was a bit different even when you compared US demo to EU demo, let alone with WE demo (Japan).

Hopefully its as good if not better.

I would be happy with home matches one week and away the next on ML. But for konami nothing is more immersive than to play 5 home games in a row.

Great find, this is really interesting. It seems like Arsenal and Chelsea will indeed be licensed in PES 2015 since the file only contains licensed teams.

Ireland is written three times :D I am guessing that Ireland is the default value for any new Team the Editor doesn't know. Doesn't mean it's licensed unfortunately.
