PSG threw away their 10 point lead, I'm a point clear of Dortmund now at the top. Seems to be a regular pattern, the seasons start off tough-ish then about half way through just cheat like hell, then it really eases up again for the run-in. Put Real Madrid out in the quarter-finals of the CL (4-2 on AGG), face Inter again in a repeat of last year's semi-final. The other semi is Milan vs Bayern Munchen so it could well be another repeat if me and Milan both get there.

Robben and a lot of players who broke through this year are generally under-rated.
He will improve a lot in ML so that's no worry but in general there are a lot of these players and a whole lot with wrong foot assigned to them and wrong height/position.

I'm done French/English teams now for PLF data. You guys will soon be able to enjoy it.
Jus to give you an update... 38 players had to be created for Ligue 1 and 22 for Premiership. Those 2 leagues are COMPLETELY done now... all players stats slightly adjusted if needed and wrong height/postiion/foot as well as weak foot accuracy corrected ;)

You won't believe some of the major mistakes by Konami like Pandiani right-footed hahhaha.... Saha 175cm instead of 185. lol Drogba 180 instead of 188cm and a whole lot more.

Maxi Lopez IS in the game Inter_211, he's at Riverplate if you haven't transferred him yet.

and Cardozo is an amazing talent in game at least. But you'll find a lot of 18 year olds who are FAST and agile in real life and have even been given good stats have been given a 65 for response or something close to that in game.. like Kaebi and Cardozo I believe... again unrealistic and will be fixed for my update.

Same with teamwork and mentality. I find it hillarious that Konami thinks weaker teams like lower ones in France, Germany and Holland have players ALL with LOW teamwork. If anything those teams have less skills and fight well because they have good mentality and players with good teamwork but no.. that's how Konami's research separates top teams from crappier ones not based on individual player's skills which is exactly what i'm doing. Already gone through every player in French/English league and made sure everything is how it should be.

Also fixed those 2 leagues' team formations and lineups so when you play against them you don't run into easy games where you create 100 1-on-1 chances because their CBs have a FORWARD arrow. all those dumb things fixed and formations and arrows are like they are in real life now.

Overall project is going great but considering I don't use any FM convertor and anyhting for creating new players.. and finding someone suitable to over-write who has moved to a club not in game anymore takes a bit of time to do sometime but only ensures that in 2-3 weeks time we'll play with most perfect data ever in PES/WE games hopefully.

Still a long way to go though cuz i'm a perfectioninst. Still got 4 other leagues to do plus all those "Other teams" like Porto, Spartak and all others.

You know if i were you and had all this time to make the game perfect, in the end i would add myself to the game and put myself in my favorite club, because after all that i've done there must be something in the game that would remind people that i did it instead of just calling it "Myname" data.
So i would suggest you create yourself and add yourself to your favorite club, for example we would find a player called PLF in your favorite club :P

lol no Inter that would totally kill the game for MYSELF ahhahhaa... it's unrealistic shit that i'm trying to change why would I make something unrealistic myself ;)

Are there any threads with the best promising youngsters in the master league for this game or is it just the same younsters as PES4?
 
lol they're in this thread unfortunately and 100 other threads in "PES section" and "WE section" usually with title like: "Best youngsters" , "Most improved players", "Players with great curves" that's why we tried to make this ONE small place.. crap free but haven't been able to do so i'm afraid yet :( lol... not like the PES4 ML thread. Some guy still posted a whole list on last page where I had to immediately look elsewhere lol...... shit i'm high

OK...started the ML with ManUtd..but not the real team...the default ML team..with Valery,Ximinez,Espinas...etc. and 5 star difficulty... .

I have found this WAAAAY more fun than starting with a real team...cuz u get to build ur squad from the ground up..and have been doin' this from PS1 days..:)

My first season...I didn't buy any players during the first transfer window....and I finished 2nd right after crystal palace on goal difference!!

I won the D2 Cup though...so I had 22000 WEN to spend in the summer..:)

I bought C.Ronaldo ofcourse...for about 9000...then got Pique and Nakata...and Pique has been great and is a very good defender with a good developing curve...but to my surprise..Ronaldo's stats don't increase after he turns 21!!

Anyways..my team line-up is usually like this... .

Yeah, I planned it out during the season exactly who I would buy and whatnot. Anyway, I got to the off-season transfer window, and I tried getting Luis Garcia in as Rooney's replacement (as his loan deal's over and he's back at United), but he just won't accept any deal I put in front of him. I've tried offering double his transfer fee but to no avail.

I've completed Season 2008 - the most successful season you can have :mryellow:

I won the Bundesliga, the DFB Pokal and the Champions League. Oh yes, it was the Treble :)

Won the Bundesliga from Bremen with 3 games to spare. I eventually won it by about 12 points I think. The DFB Pokal was the most exciting game as It was Hertha Berlin v Bayern Munich. Bayern took an early lead and I thought I was in for a lesson. But I defended well and it stayed 1-0 at the break. In the second half I came out strong but not really creating any clear chances. Then on about 65mins Castelen sprinted down the left wing, and cut inside and nobody challenged him, or even went near him, so I carried on cutting in and then had an easy tap in from about 3 yards! 1-1. It stayed like this for the remainder of the match and 0-0 after extra time, which was a dull affair.

So, to the fairground sideshow that is, penalties. I can't remember exactly how they went, but I didn't miss at all and Bayern missed two!

The Champions League final was at the Manuel Ruiz de Lopera and was Hertha v Inter (however Inter won the toss for colours and wore their 3rd CL kit and I was in all white). In the first minute Ogbeche was injured and had to go off, then after 17minutes Upson was injured and also had to go off! And as with the DFB Pokal, I found myself 1-0 down after Vieri slotted home. However I showed great character and got the perfect response when Dejagah equalised with a low drive past Toldo. 1-1 at half time. I came out strong again in the 2nd half and took the lead when Rafael found the corner of the net after about 70 minutes. I pitched in and managed to hold out, withstanding a moderate amount of pressure from Inter. FT 2-1 :mryellow: I had just completed the treble.

The youngster Dejagah (now 22) is absolutely immense. In the first two seasons of ML I was playing him RMF, getting him some good stamina. Over the past few seasons I have played him as CF and it's worked. In the Treble season he was top scorer in the Bundesliga and top assist man in the Champions League and DFB Pokal. He has improved so much as you can see from below. Also I have posted a pic of another player I bought a couple of seasons ago, Kazuo - an OMF from Japan. He's only 22 as well, maybe 23 now. He started off great and is now amazing as you can see!!!

Nice review of your season mate, I am sure that once I get my first season out of the way I will let everyone know how it went, be it good or bad.

Where is there left to go for you after winning the treble?
 
Well, got back into the swing of things with my PES Utd team.

Finished in 4th place and won the D1 cup.

Just started off my new season and doing quite nicely. Managed to bring in Mobali and Carew. Carew has been excellent, scoring a right few goals including a hat-trick in a 7-1 win over Liverpool in the WEFA, although I lost my 2nd game to PSV and face Man Utd next. When the next transfer window opens up, I'm hoping to bring in Ismailov from Lokomotiv Moscow.

Ismailov has been pretty solid for me for the last season and a half since I bought him, when he's fit that is as he tends to get injured a lot. Great dribbler and pacey with a good cross on him, plus he can play infield as an OMF too if needed.

After winning the treble last year again, I'm now about 5 games into my 4th season and am locked at the top of the table with Monaco, both of us with 100% records.

Brought in a couple of new guys in pre-season:

Cristian Rodriguez (SMF)
Berkant (SMF)
H. Hassan (FW)

Hassan (Egyptian) is only 18 but had 94 for response, so I assume this is maybe a 're-incarnation' of an older 'classic' player. Vaguely remember someone called Hossam Hassan, so maybe it's him. Only 54 for technique though!

Nasri has only just turned 20 but my god what a player.
 
Yep, kinda noticed Ismailov was quite injury prone, more so when I chopped him in half during a game that he was causing havoc, little yellow cross flagged an
injury and then he donned the bandages. :mrgreen:

Guess I'll need to check out this little Nasri dude.

Well I have finished my first season with Athletico Madrid and tbh it wasnt the best season ever.

It all started well enough with me going undefeated in my first 4 games but then the wheels came off and for some reason I struggled as the season went on. In my 2nd to last game I got humped 4-1, a score that was really flattering on the other team.

I can feel a clear out coming on in the summer and some decent players coming in, Gronkjaer is definately on his way out. This will really test my management skills and ability to buy players who can adapt.

Izmailov should probably have a C in injury in the game if he doesn't. Though a "B" with 3 for conditioning could be fair too.

Either way though no doubt he's one fucking talented kid when he's fit and playing. Could be Russia's best if stay fit.

Kerzhakhov the 19 year old pacey Russian youngster is also one hell of a talent for future.

@FD, keep me up to date with Mobali's performances and development throughout your season. HE's one for the future. I've seen him and he's very talented. a little dude but has all the right attacking qualities and a vicious strike with addition of being a FK specialist.

Samir Nasri when he was 16 last year.. was the best teenager I've ever seen in my life. HE's very sought after and for all the right reasons. Hope he doesn't leave Marseille for a couple seasons though although bigger clubs are sniffing around already.

I had to create him for PES4 but in WE8LE he's already there and with very good potential and rightly so however they've got his position wrong as a CF :(. So just switch him to SMF/OMF and you'll be fine!
 
Yep, little Mobali (sounds like the Jungle Book dude :mrgreen: ) is usually on the bench, but sure he'll have a big part to play in the team.

I'll sort out Nasri as well where he plays.

I've qualified for the next phase of WEFA Chmps with 12 pts from 15, joint with Man Utd who are way behind in goal diff. Managed to finally beat PSV who have won 5 out of 5 in my league, however not fared as well in WEFA. They've beat me everytime I've played them from what I can remember and Venegoor has been a constant thorn scoring in every game, even when I did beat them 3-1.

Sitting 3rd in the league 2 or 3 pts behind them too. Really happy with my team now. Currently playing a 3-5-2 formation.
