New Nvidia Drivers for better PES 2010 performance

The game is much smoother and (to my surprise) the game is actually much responsive; it'd probably say the actual response and movement of the players is about 20%/25% improved. Hhhmh ...

Strangely my game crashes when I go to edit mode and I hadn't changed anything in kitserver/settings ... in fact I even tried the editing mode with and without KS with it crashing on both occasions. Will try re-install the game.

-edit-

Yup, just did a fresh install and a fresh game boot ... crash report shows it's Driver related I presume; back to the previous stable drivers until final driver release.

I have crash issues with both my installed PES patches and 195.55 driver.

Have rolled back to 195.39 and everything is superb again.

Yep me too ,back to 195.39.... crappy thing is these are release candidates. WTF !

Is there any way to know how long we may have to wait for a more stable version or is it completely random?

These 195.55 give me a BSOD when I try to start up pes o_O

damn, since upgrading to windows7 64bit I have to install 195.39 - otherwise refresh ratio can't be set to 60Hz for enabling v-sync option in pes2010 settings...

Yes it can , you need to create a custom resolution in the Nvidia control panel...:)

Open Nvidia control panel and select change resolution, then add resolution , then create custom resoltuion to whatever you want...OK...:P

PES 2010 , running smooth , response seems better , 9 games on the trot in exhibition mode = no crashes.

Cheers, will give it a look see thanks.

edit - @60hz vsync on - these are my usual settings the game is rather jittery now as though the screen is constantly caching every so often

@75hz vsync on normally game is unplayable at these settings but is now better although still jittery, hence not optimal at all.

Overall the game's performance seems smooth but there is a syncing issue that makes it jitter/stutter every 1.5 seconds or so; guess I'll be rolling back the drivers, a pity as between the jitters it is performs pretty well.

sorry to hear that m8,i have no problems with stuttering/jittering, they are running fine , 60hz vsync on,AA=4x,AF=8x with nhancer & slight tweak on kitserver LOD.
