Mass Effect

It's not a sex scene... They kiss, you can just about see a bare arse in very dim conditions, and then she says "that was wonderful". You know what's happened but there's no actual shagging. Sorry to disappoint all the guys who have bought the game purely for this (I know two people who did and I just don't understand it, sad sad fuckers, is there not enough porn in the world already?).
 
Loving this game. Don't usually like sci-fi games but I love exploring things in this and I get completely immersed in it.
 
It's one of those "just a bit further" games.

1am: Ah right, got to go to this planet, well I'll get there and save it, it's getting late. Oh I better drive to that X first, make sure it's nothing bad. Wahey, I found a League Of One medallion. Better make sure the other X isn't another one.

3am, after completing the planet in it's entireity: God, that took ages, better warp to the next planet and save. Actually, might as well drive up to that first ! spot. Oh damn, they're shooting me now, I can't save it, I'll have to keep playing until I've killed them all...

5am, after completing the entire galaxy of planets: JESUS CHRIST, IS THAT THE TIME??
 
Glad you liked it in the end Jack, surprising considering how you disliked it at the start :)
 
Good news......Amazing really for the moaner that you normally are :D

Cant wait to open this up from under the tree in a couple of weeks. Will go back to fifa now, after completing the orangebox, and see if I can get Liverpool to dominate england and europe :D

Haha so true. I'm keeping my self away from it after completing Noveria. I'm only going to play it during Xmas hols.
 
Fuck sake. I managed to get stuck beind a few tiny rocks at my feet in the mines of some planet. If u could just fucking jump, i'd be able to get over them but the glitch has made me have to loads my game from 30 minutes ago. What a fucking pisstake.
 
Yeah the save-points could occur a lot more regularly, three times I had to do half an hour's worth of stuff all over again because as soon as there's an enemy on the radar you're "not allowed" to save.
 
Never had a problem with saving really. You sort of get an idea when an enemy might be near by anyway, especially if you have the add-on for your weapon which spots enemies.

I tend to save after every battle, and even then I usually save every 30 minutes just in case. No problems with the save system at all from me, great game :)

I fully agree with Jack where he says about wanting to do one more mission or visit one more planet, VERY addictive.

Really great game, even the music at the end and the cinematic styling of everything is brilliant. I'm not the kind of person who completes the same game twice even if it means missing achievements, I just don't see the point when you know the story, but I'm sad to see it go (as I was with Bioshock). Genuinely brilliant game, as much as I loved Bioshock (and probably preferred it) it's definitely Game Of The Year for me, just because of the multiple paths and the amount of effort that's gone into it. Just finished it myself yesterday and felt kind of sad cause it will take forever before Mass Effect 2 is here;) I used about 40 hours to and its absolutely one of the best games I have ever played! They(Bioware) really have the talent in making you care for your characters, thats for sure! Its somewhat hard to play in the beginning but as you keep getting stronger its a hole lot of fun. I like that you can play the way you want and not be determined on playing either good or bad to get the different skills, and rather act like you want. As for problems with the game there are always gonna be some. The AI of your team mates can get annoying as they get stuck sometimes and dont take cover, but not so much that it becomes a huge problem. This is without a doubt the game of the year for me and I still cant belive I have finished it, so I have decided to play it through again with a different look, new background and as a new class. Just love it:applause::applause:

picked this up yesterday from gamestation for £20. damn it is a great game, spent 7 hours solid lat night. really addictive, not had a problem with saving as I save after every battle.
 
My wife's well into it now, funnily enough when she saw me playing the first mission (that's as far as I've gone) she thought it looked boring, but after playing for a little while herself she's completely sucked into it, so much so that during the Christmas break so far I haven't touched the 360 (been playing ArmA on the PC) :)
 
Played the 1st 2 hours and really like it. Think the shooting/cover works nice. Although I need to get some online map for the citadel as I've been wandering around for an hour and havent really gotton anywhere. Looks really nice :D
 
Completed this earlier - man...the game is immense!

Could not get into it at all in the beginning. I played an hour or so, and was tempted to sell it. But once you get used to the controls and general feel of things, it does get addictive. Storyline is great - I'm thinking of going back and completing some of the side missions.

Assassin's Creed and now this....it's been a good few months for the 360 :)
 
My wife finished this earlier today and restarted straight away on the max difficulty so she must have liked it :) Are there any other recommended RPG games besides this and Oblivion for 360? And not that two worlds shite either thanks ;)
 
Eternal Sonata, Blue Dragon. erm, not sure if there is many more, or if either of those are any good. You could always pick up or DL Fable. There is a Final Fantasy XI game, cant rem which and Phantasy Star Universe maybe, Enchanted Arms and Overlord, which isnt really an total RPG

Naah they're those shitty click on a monster and have some formulas calculated to see what damage you've done right? Might as well bang two calculators together for all the fun those types of games are, IMO ;) Something that involves swinging a sword/firing the guns yourself, as Oblivion/Mass Effect are :)
 
If you could pick up a copy of Fable : The Lost Chapters then I reckon might be your bag, also if the KOTOR titles were BC, but that's about your only choice for now I reckon, Too Human is out early next year (though believe it when I see it)
 
Really getting in to it more and more. However I had no chance against some pirates in some compound on some planet in some galaxy in some system. Did I just go into it too early or is it something to do with tactics? Im just far to much out numbered to stand a chance with them coming from all over the place.

Hope the next version has some more "intense" surroundings as they are really sparce. Still look good though.

I think its in the same area as the lianni girl, (the dig site one). There is another planet, not part of a mission I dont think (or maybe its a fake distresscall (one of the first ones you get in the citadel) and you get ambushed by a couple of geth soldiers. Easy to take out. It might also be one of the planets you can travel without any mission attached to it. Anyway, you go into a compound and you cant cover enough because they come at you from all angles while also being about 15man strong.
 
I'm currently doing a mission to do with a dig site, I'm sure people know what that is. And I haven't got a full crew, the middle character is greyed out. I'm assuming it's the blue lesbian alien? Am I supposed to have her in my team by now?
