i'm sticking to my 6600GT AGP lol. it runs pes2008 demo on 1280x700 @ highest settings with 4x AA and 4x AF. it looks good enough for me

also i got another machine with 7600gt sli, seems to run a bit better on that. i really want to test it on a 1680x1050 res.

Me too i have a 22 inch monitor too but the setting just aint there i hope there is 1 in the final version

Hey xinzhitan14

What do you think of the Geforce Club3d Nvidia 8600GTS 256mb ??
or should i take the x1950 or hd2600?

I have a Geforce 8600GTS and gameplay is fine on high settings, the intro and replays jerks slightly though, maybe my processor isn't fast enough. I get no jerking on medium settings.

Pentium4 CPU 3.00Ghz
2.99GHz,
1.00 of RAM
Nvidia Geforce 8600GTS 512mb

I think Sapphire Radeon X1950 PRO is the better one.

My game runs smooth on highest settings , with 1280,729 resolution )
Intel core2duo E6550 @ 2,33GHZ
2gb of RAM
Nvidia Geforce 8600GTS 256mb

I have a
AMD 3500+ cpu
Geforce 6800GT 256mb Videocard
1GB Ram

the game runs a little jerky on high (1280x720)

Would a 8600gts make the game run normal? Or is my cpu too old ?

tnx

Well guys, I have a same kind of question and I hope you are willing to help me :)

I recently bought a laptop. Tought it was good, and it is actually. Only NOT for playing PES2008 with his next-gen graphics!! Well, it's not that bad, i can play @ 1024x768 on medium. The 'play' from the cam on the pitch works smooth. But when there is a cutscene or even a replay, my laptop can't handle it anymore and everything goes in slomotion and everything's stuttering! :(

On low settings it works easily, but I refuse to play in a stadium without croud!:mrgreen:

This are my specs:

Acer Aspire 7000
AMD Sempron 3400+, 1,80GHz
767 MB RAM
Nvidia Geforce Go 6100

The question is: which part do I have to replace to get an nice, smooth performance at the medium settings? It doesn't have to be the highest settings, but I just want to play it easily WITH crowd and a little bit of quality :)

So the hd 2600 xt is better then the x1950 pro??

Definitely not.
The x1950pro is more powerful than the hd2600xt and the 8600gts (or at worst on par, it depends on the game you consider). Just look at this, for an idea:

http://www23.tomshardware.com/graphics_2007.html

Problem is, the x1950pro is not DX10 compatible while the other two cards are. So if you plan to upgrade to Vista soon and take advantage of all those fancy DX10 features, you may prefer to look elsewhere.
Anyway, the x1950pro is excellent value for money, and by the time DX10 becomes a real requirement for games I think all these cards will be obsolete anyway.
I'd avice to grab a x1950pro: I did a couple of weeks ago, and I can play pes2008 demo at max detail with no slowdown whatsoever.

i just ordered the 8600gts and i cant cancel...

Someone please tell me if im able to play at high resolution with descent speed!
please tell me

Ilio

I have a 7900gt with 256mb and I run high settings with good FPS no problem, with even 2xAA and 2xAF enabled

I´m not sure though if the 8600 is better than the 7900 as the 8* just means it is DX10 compatible and not necessarily a faster chipset

The memory bandwidth is a little lower on the 8600 but higher core speed. Otherwise they look very close. So you should have zero problems running at max settings :)
