VFL played damn well tonight!
considering they got beat 6-0 last week they really bounced back and should of won.

goals by gekas and smolarek.
bochum looked good, and dortmund seem to be hyped and overrated somehow. can't see much class in there midfield, kringe, kruska and pienaar are really average. tinga is okay but also not adapted to european football yet. their strikers are decent, but not getting any balls from the midfield. meh. can't see them fight for european spot this year

Day 8 is finished now.
Hamburg finally won a game again (after six months!). Guerrero scored twice for Dolls team. Nurnberg drew with Frankfurt. Not a surprise at all, I might add.

This league keeps surprising me.
Everything is still so close from top to bottom. Bayern needs a victory against Leverkusen on saturday or else they might drop to mid-table regions. Fortunately, Leverkusen is in quite similar shape these days.

Day 14 was a favorable one for the top four clubs. Schalke, Bremen, Stuttgart and Bayern could all manage to win their respective match-ups.
Players of the day were Miroslav Klose, who scored twice and directly assisted the third goal against Bielefeld (3-0) and Sebastian Deisler. The twenty-six year old played his first 45 minutes of the season and showed how great of player he can be already, even though he is just coming back from an eight month injury hiatus. Deisler assisted both the equalizer and winning goal for his club!
Still very interesting and competitive situation at the top of the table. My bet is that Schalke and Stuttgart won't be able to keep this up after the winter break, though, and we'll be witnessing yet another Bremen/Bayern showdon.

Its starting to get inevitable...another damn loss, they are really in such poor form, and then every decision is going against them aswell.
Like today, the winning Bochum goal, a Bochum player made an obvious handball, but the ref let him go on, then he was brought down and the freekick was converted (very nicely i might add )
Also a very stupid red card for my man Rafael van der Vaart, just hacked someone down for no reason really, i guess the frustration is eating away on him...(his assist on Ljuboja was very nice though)
