Best gamepad for PES on PC?

just ordered a wireless reciever

I've tried playing PES using both XBOX and XBOX360 controllers over the years, but I've always found the analogues sticks less 'right'. Probably because of first using the analogue sticks for playing the first Winning Eleven import on PS2 (always was happy with DPAD before, but I'd gotten used to using analogue on the PS2 and didn't want to go back, even though it made no difference in those versions).

I also found it less convenient when using the triggers (rather than L2/R2 which even on PS2/PS3 are more like analogue buttons than actual triggers) for skills and such.

So for PES I use a PS2 adaptor on my PC (I have on occasion sync'd my sole PS3 pad to the PC using an application and bluetooth, but it's too much effort since my pad wire reaches the sofa anyway!). For EVERY other instance I've always prefered the XBOX pads to Sony. Mainly because of my abnormally large hands, but also the triggers are really good for driving games and the like.

One gamepad that I haven't seen mentioned and that I've been using for almost three years, is the Logitech Chillstream:

Simple, and you just plug and play without any further configuration (it's not wireless).

and price for ps2 pad is different, some for about 40€ some 20€(says original and looks like it with package too)
is sony still making them or not?

i am confused
for adapter, logic3 looks good

I use a Super Joy Box 3 PRO.

I tried quite a few converters, and this is by far the best because:

1. It has zero lag.
2. It works in Windows 7 and Windows 8.

You can get it in single or dual formats.

I bought it years ago now though, so don't know where to buy, but that's the one I'd recommend if you can get it.

- I do believe there are later versions that are readily available, but haven't tested them personally.
Super Joy Box Pro 5 available here: http://www.play-asia.com/super-joybox-5-pro-paOS-13-49-en-70-qc4.html

If you want to take a chance, we sometimes use one that looks exactly like this for 2 player, and it works great, but can't confirm it is the same one:

Super Joy Box 5 Pro is avalaible there and thats my only option where i can get it
so i need to buy controller elsewhere

Nah on the controller. I've had mine since I bought my PS2 back in the day.

Ebay I suppose.

I'd expect to pay around £18 for a brand new one I think. I'd like a new one too as well, so let us know what you find.

Indeed Dualshock or Logitech Rumblepad II (my fav) with little mod on analogue stick (*as it has got square not round area around covers, just take some sanding paper and round it).

Best controller ever :P. And nope, F310/510 is not the same, due to Logitech adding hardware deadzone to sticks by default. Shocking decision!

some ebay shops and amazon shops sell it here in germany, thats it
most of them for around 20€, but some ratings not good for these..
so i bought one for 40€, its says original package and from specialist retailer and i had mail contact with them with these questions..

better go the safe way..
adapter i bought the 5 pro, sure better than logic3 one(no options there nothing..)

on the 360 controller:
dpad suxx on it, sometimes i want to push the def line but it changes the preset tactics
inaccure piece of junk
then analog triggers pointless for pes

never this is best controller for pes
