Skysports say that Chelsea have made a 40 mil Euro bid for Gilardino. :shock:

Apparently Parma and Borussia Dortmund are in very need of money, Gilardino and Dede might be the solution for both of them..

I don't know if you make up your own transfer rumours, but nothing of that sort will happen.

Anyway, I wouldn't read to much into those alleged '50 million euro's' offers for Gilardino. Unconfirmed speculation, don't buy it.

Sorry Dom but the Gilardino news was official from Baraldi. It was all over the news here because different teams were attracted to him, creating speculation.

It was the front page of La Gazzetta 2 days ago, and this is what they said:

Luca Baraldi. 'Abbiamo venduto Adriano per 50 milioni di euro: Alberto, che ha fatto molto di piu' in cifre del brasiliano, non puo' valere di meno'

Translation - we sold Adriano for 50 million euros, Alberto has scored much more than the brazilian so he cant be worth less.

That's not what i'm talking about dear Milanista. Ofcourse Parma is asking 50 million for him, that's not what i'm contesting. I'm just saying you should not beleive the alleged offer Chelsea have already made for him.

One of the bad things of chelsea being so damm rich.
Saying chelsea is interested in a player automaticaly inflates the price. A good move by the selling clubs!
If this was 2 years back it would be around half the price!

Well he was brilliant with the Under 23, 21 and 19 sides, and has scored 45 goals in 2 years. Hes top scorer of a team that is fighting for survival... and hes 22.
He also starts for italy as the main striker.

35 Million pounds is alot, but if a team needs the money then why not... they know theyre going to sell him.

Yeah i thought those 2 signings were a bit funny. I know Russia are partial to Brazilians these days. Seems to be a trend at the moment, but i thought Maniche might have signed for a large Italian/Spanish/English club.

Dinamo already had Derlei! Maybe they'll buy the entire team!
They just need to take Mourinho as well! :lol:

Just been reading about season totals about FCPorto, all the transfers!

Porto this year won 101,9 € million, spent 48,125 € million.
in terms of titles this year only the Portuguese supercup and the Intercontinental Cup. Bad year in terms of league and CL, but looking financialy it has been a great year!

well it was 40€ million, and he was internationally proven, in EURO2004 he was extremely important for the squad! althought i think it was 2 much!
