Funny how I came across this thread after I played some of the older games in the PES series today. I have the whole series from PES1 to PES2008 on PS2 and I thought I would play them for a bit before I put them up for sale on eBay. IMO, PES6 is probably the best. PES6 is the only one I have on PC.

pes2008 is the best game ever, mates... you stay angry just cause your PCs are so bad and you can't run it without lags in the HIGH graphics...

I think you are kid which don't play older PES in PSOne etc. I have very good PC, but PES2008 is shit game and I don't want play this. I played 2 matches and uninstall this crap.

PES6 is the only one I have on PC.

PES 3 was ok (besides some stuttering issues) PES 4 went a bit arcadey, PES5 was a bit frustrating for me to control and 6 well it was decent enough.. 2008 was arcade madness!
