There's no denying the loss of Champions League (and Europa League, by extension) teams is a huge blow. It means that teams who wouldn't otherwise be available in the game definitely aren't there now. I'm talking big clubs like the current Premier League champs Manchester City.

I don't understand how such clueless people are allowed to write about PES.

I'm I the only one who thinks this looks a lot like PES 2014? I mean in terms of pace, the weight of the players and the passing animations. Of course there are some areas that still need improvement, like the lack of fouls to name one thing, but I really like what I see.

One italian preview

was extremely disappointed with their Pes 2019 hands on at E3. Reasons they are disappointed are:

players now take too much times to move in their opinion, they complain about the weight of the players
players reacting too slow to input
passing being totally random in their opinion and not guided as they were accustomed to in Pes 2018

I see those as positive because they said that Pes 2018 gameplay was great. Considering that, everything they say is bad about Pes 2019 is good in my opinion. As long as it's not as frustrating as Pes 2014 was at release, i can see being more and more happy of a much more realistic Pes.

So, yes, it seems you are right, there are definitely elements of Pes 2014.
