UFC Fight Night 40

Good show. Skip the preliminary Card and go straight to the main card unless you`re a fan of one fighters. On the main card skip Magny vs Means and Cariaso vs Smolka. Watch everything else though.:)) The main event was UNREAL.

Matt Brown vs Erick Silva 10/10 I don't care if you're not a MMA fan you have to see this fight. The best FIGHT in combat sports this year

Great back and forth fight. Brown`s stock is way up as he is on a huge win streak. Defn deserves a title shot. I don`t think he can deal with the cream of the crop in the WW division though. I think all the top guys (Hendricks, Lawler, GSP and Condit) beat him

Bellator: 118; Average Show

The fights:

Skip Galvao vs Vasquez:YAWN:

Highlights: Koreshkov vs Baesman and Mcgeary vs Mucitelli.:APPLAUD:

King Mo vs Rampage is this Saturday correct?

Need to check out that UFC FN40 show after your endorsement.

Yup, this Saurday. It's their first time on PPV. The card is pretty good. You got Tito on there as well against a good fighter who is looking to make a name for himself. Too bad Alavarez had to pull out as it's now Chandler against Brooks. All I want is entertaining fights.

Skip Bellator 119. Nothing to see there.

Bellator 120 was a pretty average show despite all the hype for the main card that consisted of Rampage, King Mo, Chandler and Tito. However, I would highly recommend the preliminary card. :BOP: Those guys went all out.

Not impressed with Tito beating up a small guy. Dude literally looked two weight classes lighter. Rampage and King Mo failed to deliver. What a stinker. Michael Page is an interesting prospect. He's fast, athletic and flashy. Can he can take a punch though?

UFC 173 was a good show. On the preliminary card check out Tony Ferguson vs Katsunori Kikuno and Mitch Clarke vs Al Iaquinta. Watch everything on the main card except Takeya Mizugaki vs Francisco Rivera. The main event was really, really good.

T.J. Dillashaw vs Renan Barão 8.5/10:))

Wow. T.J. completely dominated Barao. When is the last time you saw top 5 pfp fighter dominated like that in a championship fight? T.J. beat Barao to the punch all night. His movement was superb. Not just his head but his whole body. Barao could barely touch him.

Is it worth watching Bellator 118?

Not really. The only two fights worth watching are Koreshkov vs Baesman and Mcgeary vs Mucitelli. You can probably find them on YouTube now.

YouTube - UFC Embedded: Vlog Series - Episode 5

Being banned by Casino happens more often that you think. A guy like me who wins in the range of 500 to 1000 on average is nothing to the Casino. However, guys like Dana White, CEOS, and professional athletes who bet hundreds of thousands of dollars can win a lot of money.

What happened to Barao? TJ lit him up and never did I expect that to happen. Just Wow!!

How about Varner fighting on one leg and falling over and over cause his leg was failing? Cringe worthy but lots of respect for him. What a warrior!

TJ lit him up. That's what happened. Don't forget. TJ's has been training with some of the top guys (Faber/Bena) that are at or near his weight class. Faber is a cool dude. I might him Vegas after his fight with Cruz. Training with the best only makes you better. I was surprised TJ won but not shocked. Barao is a top p4p fighter but not the number 1 p4p like Dana White was saying leading up to the fight. GSP, Jones, Cain and Aldo have all fought and beaten better opposition. I don't care if you're undefeated in your last 60 fights. It's who you fight that matters.

Wandelai has pulled out of his fight with Chael at UFC 175. The weird thing here is that he's applied for licenses tons of times before but suddenly he's confused by the papers and doesn't understand?

UFC Fight Night 41: Average Show

On the main card check out Gegard Mousasi vs Mark Muñoz, Niklas Bäckström vs Tom Niinimäki, and C.B. Dollaway vs Francis Carmont. Skip the Barnatt fight. So now Sonnen is out of UFC 175 because of a failed drug test.

UFC Fight Night 42: Good show: Everything on the main card is worth a watch. I think their were 6 fights.

Diego Sanchez lost that fight. One of the worst decisions EVER. The decision was so bad Uncle Dana gave the win bonus to Pearson after the fight. That tells you all you need to know right there.

Tbh, the guy lost all his biggest fights and I never really cared for his fighting style so I'm not sad to see him go. He's a great talker though so I wouldn't be surprised to see him in the professional wrestling scene like Tito and Rampage since that industry loves guys with charisma.

UFC 175: good show. The main and co-main delivered.

Weidman vs Machida - is a must see fight. Fuck ya. :BOP:

Listened to a podcast the other day and it is no surprise that UFC business is down. n 2011, the UFC held a record 16 PPV events in a calendar year. The lowest event had 225,000 sales, a number that 3 events so far this year have hovered around. So the problem might be quality as well, not just quantity. No GSP and Anderson Silva have really hurt PPV buys as fans want to see star attractions. They need to do a better job of building up their champions. Remember those prime-time specials? Boxing has Mayweather and Pacqauio, and possibly a future PPV star in Canelo (he has to keep winning). Fight pass looks promising though. Overall I think it's a better business model than the WWE Network where Vince is essentially saying everything they do is worth 9.99.

I think it's also a case of the UFC having too many fighters, with a lot not being particularly exciting to watch. So you have cards where there's only a couple of decent fights whereas I feel the old events just felt packed with talent.

Silva and GSP leaving in the same couple months was quite disastrous from a business standpoint.

I mean Rousey has one foot out the door already which isn't good either.

To become an actress? Speaking of which, what happened to Gino Carrano coming back to MMA?

As you said, it's mostly cad not being stacked. These days, I seem only interested in the main and co-main events of cards.

And what's up with all these rematches? Barao and TJ are fighting again in around a month after TJ beat him up barely two months ago.

There are grumblings that she wants to give pro wrestling a shot. As for Carano. Her return is on hold for time being, contract talks and all. Rousey vs Carano, Cyborg, or Holly Holm's are the only big fights left in women's division right now. Holm's CV is outstanding.

UFC Fight Night 45 was an awesome show. Every fight on the card delivered. Highly recommended!

How about the line up for 178? Wow

Great card this weekend as well, can't wait for Lawler vs Brown

Aye. Some strong cards coming up. The main event for the San Jose July 26th FOX card is #1 ranked Robbie Lawler vs #5 Matt Brown. This has the potential to be an amazing fight. I think Lawler knows that he made one mistake with Hendricks. His lack of killer instinct(which he rarely lacks). It wasn't quite there when he had Hendricks hurt, but I think he's going to turn it on real hard against Brown

Gus vs Jones 2 is postponed. Jones vs Cormier is the new main event. DC has a shot to win based on his wrestling, but he doesn't have the reach to get in on Jones. That said, Cormier has good boxing. He fucked up Bigfoot. It's going to be a good fight so we will see.

Vitor got his license so he gets Weidman in December. Vitor should be suspended for his failed test but the NAC and UFC need a big title fight to end the year so.....

ufc fight night, lawler vs brown was a solid show. The the last 3 fights on the main card delivered. Didn't see the prelims but heard they were garbage so you can pass on watching them.

Silva vs Diaz!!!!!!

Wow

My 2 favourite fighters to watch squaring up against each other.

I'll die happy now

The only way that fight would suck is if Silva finished Diaz in under 10 seconds. Other than that, I can watch them circle around each other and I'll be happy.
