IMO its a gimmicky move. Sure it's great that its in there, but during gameplay it's not too practical anyway. When palying with friends once in a way it's cool to show it off (just for that WOW factor).

Other tahn that i'd rather have more simpler signatur moves put in. (I.e different styles of sidesteps, crossovers, fakes).

ANd why stop with the 'elastico'. Should have also included the 'sombrero' for some players.

mebbe con-army can borrow some elements from capcom's street fighetr series with signature trick moves for certain players.

basically, u hit the same button ( :l1: ) X times and trigger the tricks. coupled with D-pad maneuvering, and the possibilities are nearly mugen-nimous (infinte time and space)

Editing a player who CAN do it to someone else should definately do the trick. I haven't tried it but since the "Flip Flap ability" is hard-coded for that player in some hidden way we can't edit it only makes sense that by changing his name and even ability, he'll still keep that "Flip-flap" ability programmers gave him.

So I'd say go for it, it should work.
 
Another thing.Has anybody found out who else can do the special R1 shot besides Del Piero? So far I have found out that Rooney and Henry can do it.I have a video of me doin it on training.The curl on the ball is wikkkeeeddddd...

Thanks for answering. I also think that it will work. However I cant decide which player to edit. Right now I'm thinking of editing Takahara. Any other suggestions?
 
Only few that are known. Hope to find out more though.

James Milner is a English youngster at Newcastle, I think.

In PES5 Emana from Toulouse can do the flip-flap.

Perhaps in WE9 he can also.
