demoTweak2009 for PES2009 PC DEMO

Yeah, I don't get what that option means. I mean, I choose from the drop-box 1280x800 because that's my screen's resolution. So it should fill the screen properly, instead if the LB box is ticked I get the two black stripes, if it is not ticked I get it fullscreen, but I can't understand how the proportions change between the two scenarios.
 
With LB checked there are these black stripes, but the players and the ball is ok.
Without the LB, the screen is filled complete, but the players are streched and the ball is an egg.

16:9 is not widescreen for PC it's 16:10, damn konami...
 
My monitor is an LG 22" with an aspect ratio of 16:10 (1680x1050), why is it that whan I play I have a strange blur effect when for example I make a long pass or when I shoot the ball? My graphic card is pretty good it's a 8.800 GTX so that's not the problem.

Is it just me or Konami forgot to give us a 16:10 resolution option?


Yes I know that if I tick LB although it makes this problem less noticed it also shreds the image and puts a black strip on top and below... .


Can anyone explain me how to play with a monitor with a 16:10 aspect ratio withouht making this strange blur effect?

But this year there is not manual goalkeeper like pes2008 or pes6.... every time i play pes, i control my goalkeeper like a normal player, because the goalkeepers managed by the CPU are not reliable at all....

Can you activate this function if is possible for you? :))

i need to play more matches to form an opinion... first impression was no good, to be honest. Sorta like pes2008, but slightly worse. Maybe it's this arcadish sticky ball again, or the robotic player movements, i don't know. I still think PES5 was much more like real football.

Have you seen that the Lod is bad again, like pes2008... cant wait for LOD-Mixer :)) ....i hope you can do a LOD-Mixer again.
 
Someone noticed that..if you choose high settings, the game change itself?.. for example the pubblic obfuscated or similar thing?

If you don't like the black bars (which appear if you check 'LB' box in settings.exe), then try the new version of demoTweak. It allows to enforce any aspect ratio you want.

So, for instance, if you monitor is 16:10, then run settings.exe, uncheck 'LB', then run demoTweak2009, set the aspect ratio to 1.6, click 'Save', and now start the game. There will be no black bars, and during the match you will still have correct aspect ratio.

Other thing was fixed or added a new function?

I'm asking cause here works perfectly so I don't think need to use this new one...
