Was thinking about this last night as the depression of another Sunday night/Monday morning set in.

Taking for example the average office admin worker. We work five days a week, have two days off. During that time you might do something after work with your friends or family, and on the weekend you might go out for drinks or take a day trip out. Or you might book a week or two off for a holiday and then once that short space of time is over, you simply go back to the same old routine.

We live like that until we're old and decrepit enough that we can't do that anymore and then we just wait to die.

We're simply there carrying out tasks until our time is up and then next person does the same thing until the end of existence?

On a basic level we're simply here to reproduce, but all that means is one big cycle of things existing for no apparent reason.

Is that all there is to life? Not really sure it's worth it.

(Despite this, I'm not suicidal, just curious to know if there's a way out of the monotony)

In all honesty though id much rather be a woman. Being an housewife would be amazing, stick the telly on, pretend to clean up, turn the hoover and washer on to make a noise for a bit. Take up reading/pleasuring yourself. Heck even a bit of cross stitch

Housewife = Worlds your oyster

It is a bit shit isn't it, I guess thats why you should consider what you do more carefully, because unless you enjoy it you'll be fucked after a while.

Winning the lottery would help.

There is no point, you just have to find your way to enjoy it, work, friends, family, kids etc. And have dreams to aim for that you can achieve. The sooner you realise there isnt anything the easier it is to enjoy the stuff that there is, imo.
