Pre-order question from a North American

This may be a stupid question but I have to ask:

Every year it's next-to-impossible finding a disk copy of PES here in North America. Windows PC games aren't region-protected like DVDs are, correct? If I order the disk version of PES 2013 from the UK, will it play on my PC?
