FIFA 19 Videos & Pictures

I keep coming back to this game for in general sporadic runs, but I have massively updated my hardware, I find the game more enjoyable.

Here is a short video of an attacking move that was quite satisfying to put together:

PS: I am still playing with an early build.
Are you on the annual 'World Tour' again Pap?! :LMAO:
Same as me. I visit some games year by year just for fun.. Lol.. I downloaded 19 and 22 again this time. 😂
By the way Pap, are you using any mods on 19? Cuz I couldn't use any due to Frosty Mod Manager (not working properly). Tried Paul's FMM with custom profile as well, nothing.

Haha yeah I go on the tour quite often looking too :LMAO:

But I don't feel like I will stick very long with 19. It has good things, but I always feel like I am wrestling my controller when I play it, while everything is happening lightening quick for the CPU. The only frostbite FIFA that keeps me engaged is FIFA17, because I actually have to think to break the CPU midfield and defense. In 19, it is more about how quick you can string 3 passes in the last third to open enough space. I believe the franchise has started to move away from a more simulation oriented approach with 18, where it is really clear that the CPU is coded to by pass the midfield as quick as it can. In 17, animations are not perfect (but almost sliding free), like some times it feels like some frames are skipped, but in terms of CPU playing approach, it is the closer you can get to another human. They spend more time on the ball which leads to less pass pass moments. They are trying to trick you in 1vs1 situations (that is for me trues 1vs1 situations, not falsely build ones). Then 17 had the responsiveness of 23 (without the glitch), the thinking feeling of 16, a more human CPU (but still very dangerous and hard to play against), but such a tiny ball... I still have a bit of hope than someone find how to increase the ball size. I have the feeling that if we could export the ball mesh, edit the size in blender, import the larger ball mesh (that's the tricky part) we would get that right sized ball.

Saw some movement in the FIFA 19 thread. A short thread. The game offers with the latest Frosty Mod Manager and Editor new world. Since a couple of month we are able to import new Face models via Mod Editor and the FIFA 19 "headasset" ID Function. Just look at You Tube currently... Mods are available with 700 or 1000 new imported real Faces. Of course the cracked game profits a lot of the new Frosty Tools for those who use the cracked Version of FIFA 19. But I can confirm most of the released mods are working on my legit FIFA 19 Version too. Especially the Face mods, they don´t care if you are on TU 7 or the latest EA FIFA 19 TU.
Enough from the new Graphic possibilities. I know we all want more than any other feature a at least "good gameplay". FIFA 19 is by default one of the worst FIFA´s when it comes to the Gameplay and that damn Ice Skating Animations. I started yesterday (again) my "World Tour" nicely so called from @Anth James.
Better to say I started last week with FIFA 17, than 18, and now I am at FIFA 19 curious to import the new real Face mods.
Also I looked through my FIFA 19 Gameplay mods which I collected in 2018 and 2019 from Soccergaming.com Forum. It´s not that there are no Gameplay mods for FIFA 19. There are, but many links are down due the times since FIFA 19.
Anyway, I recorded a YouTube Video with the first Gameplay mod I decided to use. It´s just an locale.ini GP mod made by Supernova and further edited by Campeador. You will see the Ice Skating Animations are not "so" heavy like in default FIFA 19. Also you will see that the AI behaves other. Look at how much the AI try to flank the ball from the wings inside the box of me. The midfield playstyle from the AI is often very good imo. I am aware the overall Gameplay in FIFA 19 is really quick. But this gameplay makes the game playable for me this evening at least. I will try some others the next days, next week. This gameplay mod are from Supernova, Fidel Gameplay and Paulv2k. Paul making FIFA gameplay mods for a long time and his FIFA 19 GP mods are really enjoyable. Not only his current GP mods for FIFA 23 you Guys know from his thread here.

I will leave for now the gp mod with a downloadlink here which I used in the Video below. It´s from Supernova´s Soccergaming thread for FIFA 19. So all credits to him and especially the edited Version from Campeador. I know Supernova is still active in PES 2021 thread. If the downloadlink should be removed
than I am sure the Moderators or Supernova will tell me.

If you Guys have still FIFA 19 on your Computers and wanna try the GP, here is the dl link from my Mega Drive:

https://mega.nz/file/dEAghKLR#tDlIhtN0Z4wjd-q6gPshTYBr9PsurGpjruhMXOQEL2U

I will test the other gameplays as I mentioned, maybe I find some other good attempts without Ice Skating.

I have all Sliders left on default and playing on slow Gamespeed. And yeah for the first time FUMA. So don´t put the blame on me when you see my many missing passes. Learning curve must go above. :))

PS: @Anth James Hey Man, I know you like Camera mods like me as well. The Cam mod I use in the Video is from Fidel Gameplay from his official thread at Soccergaming Forum. If you wanna try them let me know. It´s Cheat Engine based and many Cams are supported. I use the Tele Broadcast cam with the cam mod. There is also a Broadcast cam, default cam, standard cam, co op cam mod etc. Pretty much all the cams are effected with the Tool. ;)

EDIT:
If anyone wants to try the Camera Tool/Mod just PM me. My offer was not only exclusive for Anth James. But he was the first Person who comes to my mind when I think about a Cam Mod. :))
The Mod is still available on Fidel Gameplay´s public Website. So do a little Google Search and you will find them. So no need for me providing a public link here in the Forum because of permissions questions.

Hey man, camera looks nice. Yeah send it through and I might reinstall 19 and give it a fresh go! Thanks.

Here is another Video I recorded with a different Gameplay. This time it is Gameplay mod from Fidel Gameplay called FAES v.5.2. It lowers the game speed and imo the midfield game is more present as in default gameplay. There are not that much goal chances on both sides. Games won´t ended 5:4 or that crap results from later FIFAS. The Players sliding is always present unfortunetly. So no need to make that fact lesser important. But not that much as in default game imo. The Cam mod is the broadcast Cam tweaked in height and zoom by the Cam Tool from Fidel Gameplay. Looks really nice imo.

Maybe I stick a while with 19. If I go on further to FIFA 20 again.

So, about my recent adventure on 19.

It started when I stumbled in an old career of a youtuber I follow. My biggest turn off playing this particular edition always has been that it felt too easy, at any kind of difficulty level. Yet this guy was having his butt kicked hard, here and there.

Then, in search for some novelty, I decided to install it once again. Can't remember which sliders I had on, but it didn't took too long to identify that they clearly were the problem: whatever better rythm they gave me, they destroyed any CPU competitivity. And the guy above played it all on default.

Given this, I started a career with Parma at Legendary with more or less all on default as well, aside from injuries and some other few things and well.. was hooked from the get go.

Results wise, the first few seasons were straight up miserable. My team being piss poor, CPU being ruthless with normal teams and almost impossible to play with top ones, the grind for points was quite hard, but very enjoyable all the same (will expand on the gameplay later). Playing a 3-4-1-2, I remember avoiding relegation only in the last few matches in my first season, and then ending up middle of the table or slightly lower in the subsequent 2-3 ones- only really appreciable transfer being Tonali (who's the only guy, togheter with Cardoso, a brazilian cb from the youths, I brought up to the lowest from the highest, being my captain till the very end and developing into a monster cmf).

Then I kinda got a bit impatient, as building up a stronger team realistically would have took me too much (remember I'm certainly NOT a career expert, I indeed discovered many things just by this run, which was by far my longest), so I started exploiting a bit january renewals, bringing in, among the others, Kessie, Schlager and Christensen.

And then it all started making sense. Finally I was beating lower teams consistently, arriving in the Coppa Italia final (and losing) and qualifying for the Champions League. Then the last two seasons were the most epic ones- I had a team mixed of strong youth players and popular champions like Alisson, Alexander Arnold, Delle Alli, Kane, Gabriel Jesus, Haland, Vinicius Junior and De Light among the others, and other pupils of mine with lesser overalls, but which I was too fond of (left fullback Kelly being my best example, not even Firpo or Theo Hernandez could stole his place, and Schlager.. loved him to death). Finally won Scudetto (decisive match in the derby against Bologna, although unfortunately they were too poor and didn't stand much of a chance) and Coppa Italia, even tho Real eliminated me from CL in the 16th. Felt like the perfect closure to the whole journey, being a powerhouse but still having losses and very well fought matches. Left it in the sequent season, when I had 3 points on the second Fiorentina (and 8 matches left) and I was about to face Barcelona in the CL quarters, probably the best team in the career. Don't know if I'll retake it in future, I doubt it could get any better. Maybe I'll start another one with some personal clear challenge.

Some more general notes on it all:

-It created sub rivalities and matches I was looking forward due to that. Some examples- players who would give me hell, like Inaki Williams in Napoli, Dybala in Juve, Wilson in Fiorentina, Richarlison in Milan or my Milinkovic Savic in Lazio who, on top of his development, felt like playing against a cheat, more or less always scoring against me and winning any single midfeld duel. I was also tempted to buy him but always decided to leave him in Lazio for the fun of it.. then the lovely fucker decides to go to Barça  . Given I should have had to face them, it would have been an even more epic clash just for this.

-Some players, exactly like in glory days Pes, I couldn't use even if they had crazy overalls, like Romagnoli or Fabian Ruiz. Some others, like Kelly and Schlager, or the same Haaland which stayed around 82, never developed in powerhouses but I always felt at home playing them. Christensen wasn't as strong as youth Cardoso or De Light, yet always made me feel he was the more "intelligent" one, perfectly keeping his position and helping me immensely reading defensive situations.

-It created A LOT of epic moments. Like when I beaten Juventus for the first time in I think 4 or 5 season, Or like for example here: Napoli was between my main enemies for the title. I was winning 1-0, but they were closing me in my box.. it culminated in them hitting that post and me punishing their error with that perfect counter attack finalized by G. Jesus, which made me literally jump from my seat. Ended up winning 2-1 and probably won a large chunk of Scudetto that day.

-Some objectives are straight up broken, like the ones in which you have to play youngsters. But luckily it never got me fired.

Generally, hope it won't sound as a blasphemy, but this whole build up reminded me the days of my Pes 5 ML with Chelsea, when I grinded for titles with everything I had. It was hella fun and it written a virtual football story like I didn't read in a long time, which will certainly stay among my favourites ever. Keep in mind that as I said above I never had a career as long as this one (Fifa 19 ended up being my second most played after 16 just for this), so there was a certain fresh element in it.

Regarding the gameplay:

Yeah, rythm is bad, especially without many sliders tweaks. I wouldn't say there isn't midfield play but it's all very flipperesque, especially in some matches, against determined teams. As you can already expect there aren't also that many free kicks, although I had some and luckily I also had a decent number of penalties. Also scoring headers is quite hard- not has hard as in 20, but you need a specialist in headers and also a good crosser to have some kind of consistency in it.
Then with the things I particularly liked. For first, the goal variety: superb. Shooting is very satisfying and I casually scored myriad of different kind of goals without forcing myself to. Stats representation is good as well: I think few things excites me more in a football career than appreciating replacing bad players with good ones, and seeing the tangible effect on the field. Just to name one, the moment I replaced my youths keeper with Alisson made all the difference in the world. Or the crosses I scored when I put in A.A, or the solidity Kessie gave me to midfield. One critic could go to pace, which is indeed sometimes hard to spot on average, but really fast players like Vinicius Junior or G. Jesus do stand out a lot, so I guess it's acceptable to me. Don't forget this is also the last chapter without one v one nonsense and midfielders not tracking.

Regarding CPU.. it's tiki takaish for sure, but with one big exception: star players do stand out, even if in bursts. Good strikers will score you more, good shooters will nail it often, one vs one specialists will take it on you dangerously. I added two examples in this hghlights in 0:38 and 1:43 of what good dribblers might do (even if I wished I saved more stuff from the AI):

The rest are scrappy goals of mine or nice random moments I felt like showing especially from my first seasons. I have some stuff from more recent ones, will probably put it togheter some other time.

I'll end this already lenghty post with a consideration: as I said some days ago here, I don't want to change peoples mind on the game.. you hated it, you most probably still gonna hate it after all I written. You could find another thousand flaws in it and I'd probably agree with most of them. But to me in that particular moment it was the perfect mix between some simulation/depth and some fast action. I just happened to love the small moments of football it gave me and the narrative it generated, and felt like sharing it. But on a general note, given I had this retake when I took a pause from Evo Web, I have to admit: I probably wouldn't have played it if I had read the general opinion about it here. Sometimes I wonder how much negative opinions (or just general ones) influence how we approach a game, regardless of this one.

That said, thanks if you arrived in the end and sorry fo the prolixity, hope it was readable.
I'm about to start playing FIFA 19. Thanks for this post bro! I've read here on the forum and elsewhere that it is not a popular FIFA installment, but I just played a few exhibition games and liked it with Operation Sports Community sliders! I think what you say is right, we have to approach a game with a fresh mind, with a fresh perspective, and decide if we like it for ourselves. For one, I love the presentation. Now it is time to delve deeper into the gameplay and give it a good shot. I love what you said about goal variety as well. Prepared to tackle FIFA 19 fully now, adding slowly to my FIFA collection after years of PES! :BSCARF:

Mate, there are still plenty of mods for the game around. me having some collected back in the days in 2018 and 2019 from soccergaming Forum. Range is from real Player Faces (which is possible through the Frosty Tools), Camera mod, LOD 4k mod, some Gameplay mods and other immersion mods like TV Logo, Adboards or Scoreboards.
It´s true the game isn´t the best strike of EA, but it´s playable with some mods imo.

Guys, quick question about My Player Career! :BSCARF: :TU:

I'm playing with an invented 20-year old striker, in the Austrian Bundesliga. Milo Mugosa is an invented Montenegrin striker playing for Admira Wacker! He is the "invented" younger brother of one of my favorite players, Stefan Mugosa, who plays for Incheon United in the K-League! I've been really enjoying it! (check out the goals above) :)

Anyway, here's my question: I believe I started with an overall rating of 67, but only after playing about 7 games, my rating has gone up to 69 or so!

I don't want my player to be a Golden Ball nominee, don't want him to play in any huge teams or be one of the best players in the world. I want him to have a more "normal" career, perhaps top off in a mid-table team, more like a local favorite player, but not a superstar by any means. I'm guessing mid- to high 70's is what I'd like for his peak, maybe low 80's but that's a stretch.

What would you guys suggest? Should I just stop training him? Will he grow at a more realistic pace without training? Should I just simulate his drills? Any suggestion would be welcome. Thanks! :)

Do normal training once a month (drills for a striker to improve his finishing and other logical areas according to your team's tactics). If you sim one training in a month, do the training manually next month. Repeat the process.

Set up a storyline or scenario in your mind, such as: if you fail to score or assist in 10 matches, do training relating to composure, agility, and so on; etc.

That's a great idea bro! Setting up only ONE training a month, and training according to his performance in matches. Do you think I should do 5 training sessions or less than that? Thanks for the tips. :)
Ah, just one session. But, as I said, if you fail to score or assist in 10 matches, add one more session to improve other aspects.

hey mate,do you know best update patch for fifa 19 ? what patch are you using?

A random goal I scored during a friendly tonight (yes, I'm still fighting to find my go-to game for the current season):
Nice long-range screamer bro! :GSCARF: FIFA 19 is to me, one of the more underrated titles! I've been really enjoying My Player Career, and will eventually start a Manager Career in it!

I had similar issues at first mate with 19 and although untouched, it's still infinitely more playable than the later titles, it still needs tweaking. Try this slider set and play on slow. If a game appears too fast, I knock Acceleration down to 48 and if it seems to slow, I knock it up to 50. I find between 48-50 suits the match tempo of most games.

Went through this thread from start to finish since i remember liking this game for a couple of seasons and having a few screamers scored.
loved it at the time, and found three insane goals, good times

The OS Sliders combined with PaulV's locale.ini have made this the best FIFA for me in recent years, better than FIFA 16 in my opinion.

This game has some moments of brilliance.
Imagine this: 1-0 down against a slightly better opponent who had more shots on goal and more chances than you. They have the chance to go 2-0 up at the end of the game but their forward just kicks it straight into your keeper. Then, this happens:

Not the best looking goal I've ever scored but hey, it's still an equalizer, during stoppage time, after their keeper denied me what would've been a way more fair goal than this.

Just conceded this goal in a friendly against Millonarios (rejoice, @millossobek!)
I was playing against 'Professional' AI and... I still can't believe that he disposed of my defender like this.

Four passes to transition from a recovered ball near their box to a very dangerous breakaway (against which I honestly should've done better, I agree) but... What a way to get past your defender in the box that was. I was almost applauding.

@*aLe Eliser Quiñones! :BSCARF: That year's Millos team (2019-20) was a little frustrating though. We started off like the wind, and lost sail as the season progressed, but in anycase, awesome move to elude your defender, made even more impressive that it is in professional!

Cool to see Millos play against Salernitana, BTW, I don't think we've ever faced an Italian team!

EDIT: I just looked it up and we did play a friendly against Napoli in 1967! They came to South America on a tour and the match finished 0-0! :)

Yeah it feels a little strange but it’s just the way I’m playing: either I pick Pescara or Macclesfield (as I’m planning to play a career with one of those two, but I still can’t decide which) and then play against teams that are more or less of the same strength, or I choose a random Italian team and then pick a random opponent of the same strength more or less (and that’s how we ended up with Salernitana against Millonarios, Your Honour).
