Xbox 360 controller configuration

Hey guys do you know how to set a Xbox 360 controller for PES6, I can't get it to work, it's making pases with the START botton

Are using wired or wireless? I have the wireless controllers and the wireless usb receiver. Everything works fine for me, I just need to have the controller on before I start the game otherwise PES6 won't recognize it.

I got I wired one. The problem is how o arrange the buttons, 'cause it's taking START as standard button. I just need to know how to set the buttons...

you could probably change to directinput instead of xinput if that helps (can't remember which one, just switch to the one that's not the default) in the settings. I think then it allows you to map buttons.
