X1650 Performance - ATI users give the new 7.12 catalyst driver a try

Hi,

I have just applied the new catalyst 7.12 driver. I have notcied some improvement in game speed. Seems more fluent

let me know......






AMD Athlon X2 5000
2GB Corsair XMS2 DDR 6400
256MB ATI Radeon X1650

Nice, what graphics settings do you play on with the X1650? Do you get any lag during cut-scenes/free kicks?

In konami settings has resolution as 1024 x 768, high,4:3, all other boxes unchecked.

70Hz

In ATI catalyst 7.12 control panel

3D Mode

-Standard Settings = Custom
-Anti Aliasing = Temporal anti level 2x
-Adaptive Antiasing = Unchecked
-Antomorphic Filtering = Use application settings
-Catalyst AI = Disabled
-Mipmap Detail Level = quality

I'm running a 7600GS which is a very similar card to the X1650, so I was just wondering if you got much lag during free kicks and cut-scenes, that's all ;)

I use a X1650 512mb AGP version, and can play on High with V sync and fram skipping enabled.

I have the new drivers and 2x AA and there is no lag or slowdown anywhere offline.
