WE vs PES6 and patch question

I ll be able to try WE 2007(American i guess no Japanese version) later and I would like to know whether there are any differences between the 2 version(pes6/we 2007).

Question:


Will I be able to install pes6 patches to my WE installation, or its considered a different game and pes6 patches arent applicable. In other words, it it the same game named differently or not?

I have both games and there's a slight difference. Meaning if I'm remembering it right, in WE7 there were 1 or 2 more slots than PES6 so it won't work. But once you find what file/files are extra then the patch will work.
 
Erm. I should have said files. There are more files in WE7 than in PES6. So when you install a PES6 patch on WE7 things get screwed up.
 
The gameplay is a bit different; J-League Winning Eleven 2007 Club Championship is the best game of the series (to me at least the older PES6 feels quite bad by comparison)

And no, no patch will work with any other game.
