vga or cpu limited?

Hi,
I've this configuration, in brief: P4 2,53GHz with an old (I admit) GeCube 9550XT.

In the training mode I can play at 1024x768 (no filters, 60Hz, medium details) with no problem. In exibition mode, the FPS slow down and the only way in order to play in a decent manner is setting the resolution at 640x468 with low details.

If I buy a X1950GT, can I play at 1024x768 at high details also in exibition mode?

you have a high chance in playing like that yes.

yes the x1950GT is a very good card, should run on high no problems at all.
