Transfer pes 2010 save data to a new pc

I've just put together a new PC and installed my copy of pes 2010 on to it. I'd like to know how I go about transferring the save data from my old PC to my new PC. I've tried copying the data onto a usb drive, and then pasting it into the Konami save folder in documents on the new PC. But when I start pes 2010 it gives me a message saying that the data is from another version please download content and update. I'm completely stumped any help would be greatly appreciated.

Probably you took from a patch containing a different version of PES2010.

You have to update your game to the version it was previously. If you don't know what it is, w!Ld@'s editor should tell you.
