Post here your top 10 derbies.
I suggest to post in two dimensions:
1st - Best 10 fan derbies (Rivality)
2nd - Best 10 football derbies (Also big Rivalities)

For me:
1.River - Boca
2.Partizan - Zvezda
3.Panathinaikos - Olympiakos
4.Fenerbahce - Galatacaray
5.Lazio - Roma
6.Celtic - Rangers
7.Genoa - Sampdoria
8.Paok - Aris
9.Milan - Inter
10.Arsenal - Tottenham

Also for me theese are as football same as fan derbies.

you forgot crazy Polish fans in Wisla Krakow vs. Legia Warsav

here in SVK fans go CRAZY when Slovan Bratislava playes Spartak Trnava and oposite...in Czech republic it´s Banik Ostrava vs Sparta Prague mostly...
 
Strictly spoken Barcelona-Real Madrid is not a derby, but i would always put the classico in my list.

So to expand it maybe a list about rivalries:

Olympique Marseille - PSG
Ajax - Feyenoord
Real Madrid - Barcelona
Bayern Munchen - HSV (i'm not sure if HSV are Bayern's biggest rivals, maybe Werder Bremen).
Schalke 04 - Borussia Dortmund (that is a derby too)
Benfica - Sporting Club
Anderlecht-Standard (5 years ago Brugge were Anderlecht's biggest rivals).
Liverpool - Man Utd

And of course the ones in the first list.
 
I'm also using the Clássico definition. My list is basing on passion and importance for the competition.

Gerd, in fact the Portuguese derby Benfica - Sporting is losing importance mainly due the weakness of Sporting over the last decade. With FC Porto growing up and winning the majority of the titles in the last 30 years Benfica supporters see Porto as the main rival. The hatred between clubs is huge. We can compare the Benfica - Sporting derby to Real Madrid - Atlético, for example, as Sporting are usually more concerned about beat Benfica than the contrary, it's basically a one side derby.
 
genoa-sampdoria (the so called "derby della lanterna") is far more important than the milan-inter derby in italy... it's pretty much on par with the roma-lazio derby... and quite often it's even more spectacular than the roma-lazio derby (wich is already a very spectacular one).

it definitely deserves a mention here :))

yes mate, but their rivality can't be compared to those i posted above....
as far as i know Parma is more rival with Modena and Reggiana than with Bologna (whose biggest "enemy" is Fiorentina, i think)....the other big rival of Parma is juventus since 90's

@tuta, Bordeaux and Nantes? I didn't know that. On other hand, I did think Nantes and Rennes are rivals, nothing big but there's some rivalry there like Parma vs. Bologna

im agree with Gigi everyone know rivality between Real vs Barca so here i give u some info about rivality of Kosovo

Vëllaznim vs Prishtina ( 2 biggest rivals in Kosovo old rivals with great fans and also players , Prishtina 13 times Champion of Kosovo , Vëllaznim 9 times , I play for Vëllaznim and i say this like a player and like fan this match its great always even if we have problems last 2 years we are down in table match its same great , this year they are 1st in table and we are 10 Super League have 12 teams so we are in dangerous for go down in 2nd Division but we beat them at home and we draw away so this tell good about rivality between us ,



here is one video of year 2008 when we were playing last match of season and who get 3 points win champion but bad luck for us we lose 4-3 even if match was amazing for football and fans , match was played away here are fans that go from Gjakova on capital city for support theyr team Vëllaznim

I'm sorry to go against this, but Inter v. Juventus is not a derby, technically.

Derbies involving Inter and Juventus are:
Inter v. Milan
Torino v. Juventus

But, talking about rivalries, yes... The rivalry between Inter and Juventus is very big, surely bigger than the one that there is between Juventus and Milan, probably on par with the one that there is between Milan and Inter :D

I think Cagliari's main rival is Sassari Torres: even if they've always played in different leagues supporters of both clubs hate each others because they are from the two biggest city in Sardinia. Since i'm half sardinian i know it very well: nearly ten years ago i was in Alghero's stadium (it's another city in Sardinia) to watch one of the rare Cagliari vs Torres, a "friendly" summer match....it was interrupted by the referee after 60-70 minutes because supporters broke into the field to fight and i can tell you that none in the stadium was thinking to football in the first hour of the game or after it.
Cesena rivals? Ravenna (they play the "derby della piadina", piadina is a typical food of that part of Italy) and Bologna as far as i know.
An important team from the same region of Udinese? Triestina, a club with a big history (really famous when its coach was the legendary Nereo Rocco)

From what I gather Juve Inter is a derby, not a local one like Juve-Torino.. but still a derby, its evan called Derby d'Italia.

So if u dont consider Juve-Inter a derby, than neither can be Barcelona x Real Madrid.
