PES2010/PES2009 PC 3D tweak with Nhancer and D3DOverrider

Since I´m a brand new user of an Asus EAH4850 (Radeon) I´ve get myself in this trap to find a 3D tweak tool to make the same that nHancer did to my old Geforce: turn on Vsync forced in a specific game. Even if ingame and in 3D VGA options this was disabled.

With nHancer (Geforce) you can force both Anti-alising and Vsync with performance gain (against Drivers/Game). in D3Doverrider (Radeon) you can enable just Vsync, with the same performance tweak and image quality.

If you don´t need V-Sync enabled (your LCD/Monitor is a top-notch) just don´t bother with this, since this option affect your gameplay (joystick) input in PC games.

1st: disable "Vsync" in 3D Options of your Videocard (right-clicking your desktop or with nvidia/ccc taskbar icon)

-Always OFF or -Application

2nd: disable "Vsync" option in PES2009/PES2010 "settings.exe"

3rd: Geforce only:

- Enable "Vertical Sync" globally or just to pes2009.exe and/or pes2010.exe

3rd: Radeon only:

D3Doverrider is a feature tool from Rivatuner utility. If you want to use Rivatuner full features (overclock, advanced tweaks, etc) you need Catalyst 9.2 or an older version

A) You don´t need to uninstall and "downgrade" your Latest Catalyst driver to use d3doverrrider, just Rivatuner. Now follow step (1) again and disable Vsync in driver options, if you´ve changed your drivers.

After installing Rivatuner go to menu Start > Rivatuner and run D3DOverrider - Setup like this

Note: it will work only if D3Doverrider icon is under sidebar. That´s why 'start with windows' is checked.

That´s it. Maybe it´s not a surprise to Geforce users but Radeon users don´t have too much info about d3doverrider I think.


The goal of all this tutorial is get better performance with acceptable image quality.

Valeu Aglio, mas esse programa não é um que faz um 'overclock' na placa de vídeo? Quase como o GameAccelerator e o GameBooster?

I´m using catalyst 9.11 beta with Asus EAH4850 and it´s working fine, vsync is stable with D3DOverrider

Maybe you´re using a different OS and could be different effect somehow - I´m using Windows 7 32-bit here

everything fine now, I'm usinf XP, I think some programs like EVEREST (some times I play with diagnostic or monitoring programs on) got something with stability vsync or refresh, so now everything is OK, and U'r method seems to be work perfect with all games

ps. I have two programs now D3Doverider and Refreshlock for vsync triplebuffering and stable refresh because with my hd4870 in pes 2010 its not only vsync problem, its refreshing to (I use 19" 1440x900 60hz)

Overall ATI drivers are piece of S*** and need used this two programs to everyting working fine like on NV
 
If kitserver don't work with setting and U can't set High is not possible I think

What PC configuration U have mate?
 
but tell me what U can't do: set high level in any res in setting or set 1440x900 in high level but U can example 1280x720 with high??

if this second try this:

1)set in pes setting example 800x600 High(or what resolution U got with High level)uncheck LB
2)then set in kitserver force 1440x900 resolution and aspect ratio manual 1.77777(its for wide)

and if U'r kitserver works good (must be) U will have pes in high detail with 1440x900 forced by kitserver

it must work
 
i've been using Hawke's profile on nhancer with vsync on and the games runs smoother than ever
i also tweaked a bit on side settings

exactly

and I say more, with NV I've always keep "vsync on" in drivers config and everything works perfect, but ATI got S*** not drivers and I must use this programs

great graphics card and S*** drivers... sad but true

i'm using ati just few months ago ...
for me vsync on is much better than off
i'm using d3doveride too + powerstrip to force vsync option available in settings.exe

but i agree forceware is much much better than catalyst
i'm using 7300gt before hd4770 ;)
