Slow site

Some of you may (!) have noticed that the site is being slow to respond at times. It's down to the increased number of people online over the last few days.

The server itself is fine but I think the problem is the increased database activity with having so many concurrent connections.

Our hosts are looking into how it can be optimised/improved to bring the forum performance back into less frustrating mode.

I'll update this thread with any developments.

Actually, in seriousness, sometimes It's more than just being slow. Sometimes it won't simple connect even when changing page on a thread.

Anyway, I'm still alive so take your time.

How is it now? It seems improved from my own highly scientific tests. Speed and page connecting-wise.

It does seem to be much better than yesterday, I was getting it as bad as Revan was but it's working pretty much fine now.
