I am trying to connect my PS3 to my Pc and WMP but without sucess. I run both my PC and my PS3 through a wireless D-Link Router. According to the official PS3 website forum all you need to do is the following:
Open Windows Media Player 11
Go to Library, then Media Sharing. Tick "Share my media" and the PS3 should appear as an 'unknown device'.
Then press 'Allow' and then scan for Media Servers with the PS3.
The problem is, my PS3 never, ever shows up as an unknown device in WMP, so I cannot select it.
Any ideas greatly appreciated!
