Hey guys last year there was some news that a loader had been designed and tested just wondering if anyone uses a loader for the PS3?

Theres no loader on the PS3. It was all BS. (I'm assuming you're talking about a backup loader)

It will eventually. Look at what happened to the PSP. Hackers raped that thing.

Very hard to hack a PS3 but not impossible for sure.
I read an article a while back, explaning why it is so hard to break PS3's protection.
It has to do, among many other things, with the fact that of all those processors the PS3 has, one is specifically designed for the OS and copy protection at all times and is locked from being used by games.
The article presented the reasons in a way they made more sense... but there ya go.
Another reason surely is the constant updates.
