Players are too close to the middle in set-pieces

When you get a freekick on either side on the opponent half, and it's a good place to cross it in, the players waiting for the cross is too close to the middle. They need to start from wider positions to make the run inside.

Sometimes it's impossible to put a cross in because the players are standing almost straight in front of the freekick taker.

pretend there is a line from P to GOAL, and that's the kind of run they should be making from that position.

I know what you mean mate. Don't think Konami have ever watched or played a professional match - wouldn't be too bad if there was the chance to adjust set piece tactics for fk's, corners etc. Here's hoping that 2011 is a huge improvement 'cause 2010 is just eye candy imo.
