Multiplayer 2 VS 2 - Is it possible to share the players?

When you are going to begin a 2 VS 2 game, yuo have to choose between being ALL THE PLAYERS or JUST ONE.

Isn't possible to choose, like in PES, what are the players that I'm going to control? For example I want to control all the players in my defense line while my team mate is going to control all the attack player? No more "steal the player from your team mate using L1"...

Is there a way?

Unfortunately not!

On a related note, when I have 2v2s, I go into the lobbys, then into one of the 2v2 lobbys under Game Modes.

However, over the past few days, 90% of the time when I / someone else makes a game, it doesn't show up in the lobby, so no one joins. Anyone else having this problem?

I know its not just me, because people instead are just posting in the lobby chat that they want a 2v2, then you can invite them. Thats what I've been doing but its pretty annoying!
