Collina gets reprieve

    Just heard on the radio that Serie A have given Pierluigi Collina special dispensation to referee for one more season in the top league. So no chance of him coming to England then.... ;)

    That would be a UEFA issue I guess. However, if it's good enough for Serie A, it should be good enough for UEFA.

    IMO a referee should not abandon because of his age. As long he is good he should stay.
