Cant get into lobbys to play ps2 players - what am i doing wrong?

Hello there, ive been tearing my hair out trying to find out hpow u do this...

I have the "multi platform" setting in options enabled but yet whenever i try enter any of the ps2 lobbys it always says the standard "could not enter lobby"

any help would be superb

running on a PC, my line is 2mb adsl (35-40kbps up) if that any use

could someone atleast tell me pc vs ps2 online play is possible and\or have done it before? Box even has sticker on front saying u can do it.

ive searched so much in google using all keywords i can think of , looked through pages and pages at this forum and there dosent seem to be anything about it anywhere, mad!

u can only play ps2 players in the lobbys that have "friendly" at the end

but remmeber u have to enable the multi platform in the netword options in your profile

and if it doesnt work tryign creating another profile
 
i have never played against ps2 but not for the love of trying
