these things are like hen's teeth at the minute - sold out everywhere in the uk.

has anyone seen/got one?

i like the idea of just using it while i'm flying home so i can watch a divx movie at the airport, listen to some music, maybe do a bit of surfing via 3G...

it's about the size of a hardback book apparently, so it's perfect...

disregard...

i just bought a dell xps m1330 - top spec default model, cost £849.

was toying with the macbook, but decided against it.

the dell's small 13" screen is the most appealing aspect to me and was the clincher...

lol

vista will be getting the dual-boot treatment with xp pro as soon as i receive it!

but i know what you mean - i was so tempted to buy a macbook. wanted to see what all the fuss was about, but i managed to get a 10% discount coupon for dell and ended up placing the order for the grand total of £770.

the m1330 has been getting fantastic reviews everywhere so i'm happy with my purchase. might even buy a macbook someday just to say i've got one (even if i hardly use it!)

:)

edit: ...and my m1330 looks beautiful in 'crimson red'
