8800 and Resolutions...

Hi, i usually play at 1680x1050 with my 8800 GTS (Forceware 169.09) ans the play run very smooth but sometimes when i see the replays the game have a little slowdown at 45/50fps (only in some replay not all).

If i play at 1280x1024 no slowdown for the replay...

I have a 22" LCD 2ms

So which is the best resolution for a 8800?

The fps-drop is there for almost everyone, but the driver you are using is the best.. and regarding resolution thats up to you But with a widescreen like that you dont wanna run the game at 1280x1024 dont you? :o

well, the replays might just be generally slow. ever thought about that?

for best graphics, always run your games at your monitors natural resolution. being an owner or 3x 22"s, i run all my games at 1680x1050 with incredible graphics.

dont worry about the replays, its the game you should be worried about if you dont get 40-50fps..

btw: you say you have a 22" 2ms ? you have the asus VW222 or WM221U ?
i have an acer al2216D, chimei 221D and a viewsonic VX2235WM for my three computers.
