Don't know if anyone will be able to help me but worth a shot.
I'm on my Windows PC and about half an hour ago left the room and when I came back, Football Manager had closed and my background had changed to just bright blue. Restarted and was greeted with the same blue screen and a bubble in the task bar warning me that my system was infected.
When I try to open programs I get the bubble saying: Warning! Application cannot be executed. The file RPS.exe is infected.
I've since got as far as finding out that RPS.exe is perhaps involved with my Virgin Media security software and if so, if the problem is within the anti virus software where do I begin trying to fix it?
For some reason it lets me open my browser but not much else..
Also, the MS Removal Tool has just claimed to of found 38 infections but won't let me remove them.
Bear in my mind I'm not too computer literate but any hold would be greatly appreciated.
