My Sister goes into hospital in a fortnight for a major surgery and will be unable to talk for a couple of weeks and unable to have visitors possibly for the same time, her only means of communication/entertainment will be an Ipod Touch, problem is because of some stupid health & safety bollocks she's not allowed to take her charger in with her, so I was wondering if anyone has tried any of the extra external batteries you can get off Ebay/Amazon and the like and if they're reliable to add a few hours per day onto the Ipod?

This is the kind of thing I'm thinking of:

If there are any better products out there I'd be grateful to hear about them, I know there are AA battery emergency chargers which are supposed to get you a call or two out in an emergency and also solar chargers but figured there'd not be enough light in a hospital room for a solar charger to work!

I've got one of them and it does the Job well

I think mine holds a full charge so in an hour or less my iPhone is back to full juice again :)

Forgot to add that you gotta look at the mAH to see how much charge your gonna get out of it

1200mAH is about 1 and a half charges which them one in your pic normally are or you could go for this and 5000mAH and get 4 charges out of it

You can probably get a cheaper unbranded one off ebay if you have a look around, if you find one for about £20 let me know ;)
