A tad off topic but...what's wrong with manual passing in that game ? :CONFUSE:

Every time I put my hand on the left stick (during defensive phases) my players make manual passes : the charge bar appears before even receiving the ball (even scored several own goals). What I am doing wrong ? I want to use the left analog stick to move and position players but is there a way to disable those unsolicited stupid passes ?

Didn't played PES 2010 but I never had that issue in the previous versions. Konami must have changed something but I don't quite get it. :OOOH:

It's not you, manual passing is just crap in PES 2010 :)
 
Got my copy for the wii yesterday, 360 dribbling is excellent, you can genuinly nudge the ball past a player now and much more freedom even when sprinting, took me 9 games to even score then win!

Think the shooting is a bit weak so far but I am not fully used to the game at all yet, seems a little scripted/unresponsive when it comes to being tackled but then again could just be me right now.

I will tell you something, it also reminds me of when I bought an old Winning Eleven game, not having a clue what I am saying yes/no to, hopefully Master League will be playable without English!

Another thing, the goalies are absolutely terrible, fumble everything.

I am using newer version of the classic controller with the proper shoulder buttons as well, none of this cartwheel and backflip all over the place rubbish!
 
overall a good game as DarthKebab said the 360 movement is v.good

The buts (i know this a stop gap for pes 2011, but no excuses...)

1/ It seems only international kits for some countries are updated. portugal holland missing new kit so far i've seen.

2/ out of da box van nistlerooy is still @ real?

3/ No stadium change after u finish a game when u select random stadium (same as in pes 2010 but not pes 2009. Why?)
 
Just changing the names on edit mode, only issue I have is for some players I don't know how do you spin them round to see the names on their backs? (wii version)

Cheers for the offer, to be honest I still have pes2010 on the 360 so I can just flick between the screens if I get stuck as the database should be almost the same.
 
Its an update on 2010 fixing a few things from what I've read. So if you don't mind playing a fixed 2010 and paying that much, then you must be a die hard ;)

HI where i can find one option file's editor for PS2 version of this game? because no one here seem to want to post somes players stats ask from 1 week by some peoples...

WE Challenge of the Blue Samurai is a charm on the best thing, the game play; maybe has some weak features about the easy way of head scoring, and perhaps the goalies develop sometimes big mistakes. But passing in all the ways is cool, and the realism in GP also is awesome.

The nightmare of PES2010 and WE2010 I think is a matter of past. Browsing in japanese menus always is a torture, we hope some option file or patch in english. I don't mind playing with japan in order to squeeze the whole game.

Real WE is played just with Play Station. :COAT:

EDIT: Algeria and New Zealand are in Blue Samurai.

Never thought I'd say this, but there are some really nice looking boots.

I can say it is obviously better than PES 2010. Ball physics better, animations smoother, also some volley animations that I haven't seen in PES 2010 like hitting the ball in mid-air with the sole of the foot when on either side. The ones in PES 2010 are always hit in a weird way, mostly with the inside of the foot. Definitely more responsive but not to the extent of it being arcady.
 
How would you rate the responsiveness? Does it feel like the old PES games where responsiveness was never an issue, or is it more like Fifa10/WC2010?
 
It's not as responsive as the PS2 games. It's almost well balanced imo. Not too arcady and not too laggy. Can't say its like Fifa10/WC2010 because I can't remember Fifa 10's and never bought WC2010.

The shooting isn't as powerful as PES2010. Ball feels heavier. I tried shooting from the same areas I do in PES 2010 and it's not as powerful. Probably only players with shooting power 90+ can shoot from far away. I like that.

The game just feels right. To me it's a fixed PES 2010. I can't see myself going back to PES 2010 now too.

Crossing from a corner is different as well. In PES 2010 crossing by only pressing the circle button the ball travels fast, where in WE2010:BS it goes higher and slower, just like the older versions from what I remember. If you want it to travel faster then press ^ + circle.

This is not a different game, it's just a fixed PES 2010.

I can now play with weaker teams. I played Oman v Bahrain so I can see how playing with weak teams feels and it felt much better than PES 2010. Now I guess I can finally start ML with default ML players.
