Why so crappy interface and stats?

I never understood why all football games have such awful interfaces.

Unlike all other sports games they don't even have AI slider settings. Like users having adjustable options for stuff like

"referee strictness"
"ball weight/ elasticity"
"pass interceptions"
"yellow/red card strictness"

etc.

...and settings to change things like replay frequency. It'd be great to have nicer and longer penalty shootout, for example... the user could define if he wants to watch replays of each shot, etc. Same thing for the substitions... I don't understand why they removed them... or changed them so that you only see them when you're leading, etc.

And the stats... they're absolutely ridiculous in all football games.

Why can't you see "MATCH FACTS" from the CPU simulated games so that you could follow the rest of the season/cup more closely?
You know... like this:

Look what kind of statistics the membership has done for the old hockey game, NHL 2004. It has absolutely everything but the kitchen sink.

Why can't the football games have any of that? All football games are good examples of the "console generation".... kiddies just want to have fun and play... without any desire for statistics, good & deep interface and simulation-like adjustments.

End rant. :)

No thanks. I pretty much prefer fast and responsive menus and interface rather than slow and bloated one.

Also, no slider. That'll only mean every team and AI will stuck with one or similar play style. Always hate that thing since 10 years ago in sports game. It looks like the devs can be arsed to improve their AI, thus leave it all in the hands of customer.

You wouldn't want to see the match facts of the CPU simulated games? The goal scorers/scoreline (+assists) and other important stats?

Ok.

Personally, I think that would be very nice addition during a tournament/league.

I agree, the scoreline would be interesting, but I think the game isn't able to provide more statistics like ball possession etc. because of the way how matches are simulated.

It can already provide the top goal scorers + assists.

Why these scorers could not be added to the "boxscores" or match facts?

I mean a simple stats page like this, for each and every game.

The modded NHL04 2013 has everything, plus a lot of more. And the community made these additions themselves. How couldn't a corporate pig like Konami manage to do something similar?
