How can Belarus be licensed but not have correct player names, that's just bollocks, is it just me or licensed = correct kit, correct flag, correct player names and unlicensed = incorrect kit or incorrect player names?

I've got the German version of the game and unfortunately Belarus is not licensed... no correct kits and player names. :((

Unfortunately 16 is right... look at the first post... these teams are all without real kits or proper player names (except Romania... only Mutu is wrong).
And some teams like Russia get real player names, but fake kits.
 
Do you have Football Manager? That might help you identify the players with incorrect names, assuming the fake name ties to an accurate position/height/foot/etc?

Pretty sure Okkas and Charalambides were in the team, so I think it might be a proper team, but I might have mis read the names in the match.


If someone posts the Serbia team from Euro 2008 (the game) I can match up the proper players.

Great work guys, thanks a lot. I will be changing these soon on my Xbox, glad I got a USB keyboard for it :)). I'm right in thinking that when I change them to real names I can save it in a squads file, and then use that squads file for offline play, and if I play online it will use the online squads and they will be separate? i.e. I don't wanna spend hours doing this, only for it to overwrite itself if I go online! Thanks.

It is also worth noting that all the unlicensed players birth dates are wrong aswell, the year is usually correct but the day and month just seem random. I am seeing quite a few player position errors aswell eg. Evander Sno is listed as a LB
 
In a few weeks I'll be releasing a .doc file with all the real player names and date of births. Got uni to finish first.

On a side note, I'm loving this game.

Oh no! It doesn't help that there is a limit to the length of names.

Maarten Stekelenburg for example, cuts off before the 'g' at the end.

This will cause a lot of problems for many of the foreign teams as their names are usually quite long.

Many will have to be abbreviated. :((
