Agnelli & Nelson - Everyday rocks! got that on Vinyl, Just to add the Vocal mix is made by Lange and not Agnelli & Nelson themselves.

@foxtrot - yeah man, i have that tune right here it's a stormer, love the chanting! The Orkidea mix is top too. Love a lot of Dallas Superstars and Way Out West stuff, so this one was nice to come across!

@djdavedoc - I loved all 5 of the Ferry-mixed Trance Nation albums, there were some stunners on them all. The favourites for me included the ones you've mentioned, but also Tenth Planet - Ghosts and the quite awesome Joshua Ryan - Pistolwhip.

Week 3 of my mixes will be upped here later today, then Week 4 will be live this Friday.
 
This maybe an oldie, but heard it on something I copied from the net, called Euro Dance Party 2005 (or something like that). There was a track on it with a female vocalist, sorry don't know the name, but it starts off with the woman saying/singing "This is my Odyssey, this is my illusion" and other stuff I can't mind, but the tune is brilliant.

Anyone have any ideas or am I just a fud?

Never heard of that DJ before, although he has some good tunes in his box it seems! Will try a few out, cheers.
 
I don't really rate it much to be honest matey :) There's a few artists in trance whose music bore me, and that's Marco V, John O'Callaghan (except for his remix of Dogzilla - see download below) and Sander Van Doorn.

i don't mind a bit of Trance, but i'm more in to my Electro if i'm being totally honest. though anything with nice big loud down and outright dirty beats will always do it for me! :mrgreen:

Most of the Ferry Trance nations are good but some of the mixing is dodgy in particular on trance nation 1, I didnt like his Robert Miles Children and then the way he suddenly switches on System F Out Of The Blue on top of it! you then get a very nothing mix which is almost as bad as todays Ministry CD's which are shite! Another 1 which springs to mind involves 2 Tunes that I love which he tried to mix together on TN 2001, Jan Johnston Flesh and Push Strange World (2000 Remake) and it went out of synch all over the place and it makes me cringe everytime I listen to it! What I should do is upload some of my classic trance mixes that I have done on Vinyl here is a playlist of one I did recently.

Some storming tunes in there man - love Slusnik Luna - Sun especially and a load of others. Used the Sun one last week ina mix of mine, i was tripping like a schoolkid with untied laces.

The Alice Deejay remix is well under-rated too, so ncie on the ears yet people didn't really seem to like it much back in the day!

The INXS remix is gorgeous, one of my favourites.

Hey can you also talk about house and garage in this thread.

2000 was proably the peak of garage music...from there on the music started to get violent then came Grime!

Garage, well i never really got into it. Only thing i liked was Shanks & Bigfoot's stuff and they were hardly hardcore garage! :) Although they did have a good MoS mix album out back then.

I like a lot of house music, mainly JJ Stockholm, Bob Sinclar, Illicit and Steve Murano stuff.

Yeah, can't forget that big hit they had in '99 called "Chocolate". What happened to them after that...they brought out one album and that was it.

Heard of some house group called X-Men?

My brother used to tell me a lot about the house music days...how if you go to a house rave people had a lively mood, there was no tension, there no big fashion statement like who's wearing what, everybody just had a good time and the girls where very friendly, if you know what i mean ;)

I wish i was a lot older at that time man.
 
Yeah me too - i missed out. I'm 21 now and back when the raves were in their prime i was at primary school or studying at secondary school. From what i hear there was none of the bad attitudes you have in clubs nowadays, no tension and no real dress code. Just people enjoying music :)

I haven't heard of the X-Men! They any good?

A few of us were gonna go to Amsterdam and see Tiesto but the tickets sold out in 3 days :(

so no more events for me till either Armin at Newcastle on Nov 5th or next year
 
Gutting! Although Armin at Newcastle should be good. He's been playing some stormers on his A State Of Trance show recently! Should have the best bunch of tuna ready by about then!

Didnt really like Garage to be honest only Artful Dodger Re-Rewind, and even then I prefer the Sharp Boys 1st Club Remix :) Maybe we should all record our mixes and host them somewhere in downloadable format? at the moment ive got my mix on CD which I mastered the CD a few weeks ago.

Yeah man, the proper name IS "Tracking Treasure Down", although it was said "At The Same Time" was too until not long ago.. Bugger it. :)
