The Christmas Thread

ciao everybody guys. hope u spent a nice christmas and hope u're enjoying your holydays.
i'm not a frequent poster in this section but i though this was the most appropriate place to post this.

i'd say this is the best moment to give a helping hand to those who truly need it, so u might be interested in theese links.

http://www.unicef.org/

http://www.msf.org/

theese are 2 of the most important humanitarian-aid organizations and by donating something to them u can be sure those money will really save some lives.

u don't have to do big donations.... even a small donation can be really helpful.
just to give u an idea...
with 40 euros u can save 80 kids from malaria;
with 80 euros u can provide a complete anti-malntrition treatement (ruf) to 4 kids
with 200 euros u can save 8 people from cholera.
with 15 euros per month u can feed a 4 people family, and with 10 euros more u can also provide them an education.

u can decide wich program u wanna support (malnutrition, education, aids, cholera,etc...) and u can also decide where do u wanna your money to go (darfur, congo, burundi, angola, india, malawi, indonesia, haiti, etc....).

with 60 euros u can play metal gear solid and feel like a hero..........
but if u donate those money (or even less) to theese organizations, u can become a hero for real.
;)

Are you training to be a "Gangsta" ?!

You mean The Departed?

Good films though, just surprised Scarface isnt in that list, or did you already have that? :D

Already got it mate! Classic.

My favourite films are mafia/organised crime flicks. :)

Have you seen American Ganster? That looks good to me, but havent seen it yet.

Another good mafia film is Donnie Brasco (undercover type one)

Also a really really good element in Heat is that the 60sec beginning heist is actually 60sec of movie time. Half the time those sequences go on for 5 min but they actually did it "realtime" which is cool.
