Features:
The Beautiful Game is a Pro Evolution Soccer 6 Option File Modification that endeavors to add/reconstitute past and present

football/soccer legends into the game, and tweak gameplay to allow a more flowing style of play.

Extensive database work has been done to add many past players, attempting to match statistics and likenesses to their original

owners. See below for list of added and reconstituted players. Some of these players are on the rosters of club and their national

teams and some remain out of contract or free transfers. Additionally, a number of young and upcoming star players have been

added to the database. Note that as a result the team rosters will not be 100% accurate to their current standing. If that's

something you value above all else in PES6 this option file may not be for you.

Furthermore, base-stat adjustments have been made to all players to tweak gameplay. Many hours of research have shown that

the base PES6 gameplay can be altered in this method. There's more work to be done here and certainly, it's not perfect yet, but

it's better.

Many (but not all) player transfer edits have been made, as of July 3rd, 2007. Expect updates on this after the transfer market

settles down in coming weeks.

Known Issues and Future Updates:

Not old save-game compatible.

This option file has been created on a clean installation of PES6 with Super Patch 1.01 and Kitserver added. In addition, the

NACK Fifa Commentary packs have been added, and Rani's updates to those. It has been tested with default PES6

commentary and no obvious issues arise. *It has NOT been tested with a 'vanilla' install of PES6 but it should work without

issues*. As usual, it is highly recommended that you back up your original option file/s. I assume no responsibility for any

technical issues caused by this option file.

For many of the created players, so far only base likenesses have been created. Custom faces have not been added via kit server

but this may be done in the future, depending on demand/interest. Some look better than others, but at 1800x1440 resolution,

who can tell!

Commentary tags for many of the added players are, of course, absent. This is a big undertaking but if there's sufficient demand

(and possibily volunteers) this may be addressed in a future version.

There remains a crash issue with one (at least) of the Kit Server added statiums, that causes a crash to desktop for some users.

I've yet to deduce which it is but it's not a problem with the TBG option file.

Frank Lampard still looks like he has a fractured skull - this is still a Kit Server custom hair/face map issue. It may explain his

inability to shoot, however.

Please feel free to report any issues/suggestions to tbgpes6@charter.net - I can't promise to reply to everyone directly but I'll do

my best on anything received, to address the issue and get back to you. If anyone's interested in working on adding commentary

tags from other sources, or working on player likenesses, then also, get in touch or post here.
