ok, im having slowdowns on normal matches, when there are a lot of players on screen at the same time, no matter if the settings are medium or high (at very low resolutions 720x480). So i believed having to draw certain number of players was struggling my system. Then I've tried the training mode, the free training option, and enabling all the players of the bench, to see that there are absolutely no slowdowns, 60 fps all the time, on high and low settings, so the cause of slowdowns isnt on the pitch...

Slowdowns is as a result of the crowds in a stadium....The GPU has to render a whole lotta models (both the players and referee on the pitch, plus the crowds)....In training mode, there is no crowd...hence, the faster framerate

    L.O.D mixer required.

I get same fps with no crowd.

    Basically lazy programming by Konami.

Turn in game crowd off problem solved but Konami don't give us this option.

So as usuall, it's upto Juice and Robbie to fix Konamis failings...

If someone can import crowd from Fifa 2008 and put it into PES 2008 for low and medium settings....Fifa 08 crowd consumes less memory but looks very good....Wonder if astracell is still around the forum...best crowd patcher
