Router transmitter stops working whenever I connect another device via USB!

Hi peeps. Whenever I connect my digital camera or my phone to my PC via usb the usb port that houses my wireless routers transmitter stops working. It seems as if the port loses power as soon as another device needs some power. Consequently I lose the internet connection which is very annoying.

What can be done about this? Any suggestions greatly appreciated!
